I was throwing my friend a surprise 40th birthday dinner on 12-12 when I realized the morning before on 12-11 that I should have a cake for the group. I looked up several local bakeries and none would take an order less than 48 hours in advance, which is totally fair. We ordered a cake for a birthday celebration my wife. My wife wanted the cake made a certain way with certain flavors and decorations. She gave that information to them and when we got the cake, it exactly what she ordered. The cake was delicious and enjoyed by everyone at the birthday celebration. The Bake Shoppe will be at the top of our list to order a cake from for our next celebration.
