We discovered the Welcome Inn years ago on our way to Galena. Now we often head there while skiing and staying in Galena itself. A welcome change from some of the more touristy places in town. The soup and Salad Bar is always fresh and included with most meals. My daughters enjoyed their salmon and prime rib and I had the Rib and crispy fried chicken combo on our last visit. This was our second time at the Welcome Inn and once again we were blown away by the quality of the food and the staff. The soup and salad bar is very tasty and I promise will disappoint. It has a nice family atmosphere but also a bar for the adults. I will definitely be back!!!!!

I'm from Seattle but have visited Winfield a few times and I love this bar. Great beer selection. Friendly bartender, and always someone to chat with. All around a great place to grab a beer.
