Great spot for ice cream, however there aren't many places to sit, we were surrounded by flies and it took a long time for the food. The banana split was amazing!

Stopped in at Winterset to visit another attraction, but saw the classic Frostee's sign and had to stop in! I had a classic chocolate milkshake and it was tasty! I love visiting local places, especially when there is a vintage-ness about them. Would say, if you are stopping in Winterset, stop in!

Wow. We had heard this was the best Icecream around and Frostee’s did not disappoint. Malt was perfectly flavored and good and malty! And idk why, but this is some of the BEST soft serve we’ve ever had! I recommend the twist. ? Cute place. Great prices. Remember to tip! They are very appreciative! FYI, this is a cash only business and there IS a sign posted… Keep up the great work. ????

Frostee's has been a Winterset staple for a looonnng time; under a few names, the location and service it brings to Winterset are unparalleled. It's been doing its magic for at least 5 decades.
Excellent ice cream. This is some of the creamiest soft serve I have had, not really sugary like DQ soft serve. It was really good. The prices are also very reasonable. It was less than $10 for three ice cream cones, it’s been years since I paid that. Wish I was closer to get this more often.

They are rude to out of towners that don't know they only take cash. .There are no signs posted anywhere that say, cash or check only. And the girl was very rude to my husband for not knowing that they have never accepted cards. Please train your employees to have better manners and customer service.
