“My mom and I were in town for the day and stopped by the Petite Cafe based on the reviews. It did not disappoint! At first my mom was bummed because they had just sold the last Curry Chicken Salad for the day but we both ended up getting a BLTA and they were the best BLTAs we’ve had in years. Every element of the sandwich was fresh and tasty. We also got a chocolate chip/caramel fresh baked cookie to go and it was delicious! Great customer service as well. I would highly recommend stopping in for a quick meal or treat if you are there to tour the Bridges of Madison County. Thanks for a wonderful experience!”

“We visited The Honey Lounge on a whim, and man are we glad we stopped. The place has a cool, cozy atmosphere. We got there and were the only customers for quite awhile, so we tried every flavor of mead, played cards and chatted with the owner. She was so kind, and even offered samples of upcoming flavors. We consider ourselves amateur wine and mead connoisseurs, and left with a new favorite place, and an excellent recommendation for our friends and family! We’ll be ordering mead to be shipped to our home in Minnesota in the future for sure! 🤍”

“We have had 2 family reunions at Pizza Ranch in Winterset, IA. The food was good, the people were friendly, helpful, & did a great job! We had plenty of room & they were very accommodating! I would totally recommend doing our family reunions there again! No cooking & trying to take food from 2 hours away, no rent on a building, no worries about weather, or cleanup! “This was the last stop for a quick meal at the end of our vacation. We ordered a BLT crispy chicken sandwich and fries.

The service was fine but inside of the restaurant felt dingy. We stopped at 12:15 on a Monday so we were surprised that the fries weren't fresher. The chicken sandwich is no fault of the restaurant itself but Hardee's who would be purchasing the chicken. The chicken piece was small compared to the bun. The photo doesn't show that it was off to the font of the picture with a gap on the back.”
