Pulled into Frostee’s on a hot afternoon and it hit the spot just right. Ice cream is rich and creamy, with plenty of flavors and big portions for the price. The folks at the window are friendly and quick, even when the line backs up, and the place has that small town feel that makes you want to come back again.
Great ice cream treats. I also normally like their tenderloin sandwich. Thursday i ordered a loin sandwich. It was extremely tough snd over cooked.real dissapointing. Usually large tender juicy and just the right thickness fried to perfection. Just a bad loin should have been pitched ( it was by me)
After visiting the bridges of Madison County that are located around Winterset, Iowa, it is definitely a delightful experience to visit Frostee’s.
