There was a time this place was decent place to order from, but when you shrug at your customers when you burn your food there is something deeply wrong with this place.

Food was good. Just poorly managed. No one to greet or seat us. Asked for 3 different types of common beers….were out. 10-15 minutes before anyone came to take drink orders or food orders another 10 min wait. No refills. Side dishes were semi warm. Insulation hanging from the ceiling about to fall off. This could be a great place if management coaches everyone and took some more pride in the place.

Changing 4 star rating to 2. Got takeout last 2 Fridays (6/10/22, 6/17/22) and was disappointed. The wings we ordered were burnt black on previous visit. Didn't want to reorder those so ordered cheese curds this time thru online ordering. Online asks you to leave ph.# " in case something goes wrong with your order so we can contact you" Went to pick up and was told, " oh, sorry we're out of cheese curds." No phone call, no offer to reduce price of remaining order. Just a shoulder shrug.....

First night in Winterset...The service was no good. The people who came in at the same time, ordered, ate, boxed up their food and left. We still had no food. Waitress never came back to even check on us. Two more couple's came that in long after us ordered and we're eating. We still had no food. My family must of been invisible. :( Was racism involved? Only they know. How sad.

Service was not good. I wouldn't go back until they get more staff. The pizza is very good but I took it back so they could re-heat it. It was brought to the table cold.

We knew very little about this place. The food was ok, at best. I ordered the reuben, took a couple of bites and left the rest. The cheese curd appetizers were really good, but it stopped there. My daughter ordered the Cuban sandwich. Same, she took a few bites and left hers too.As I said, we weren't familiar with this place. If you are into smokey meat you will probably enjoy this restaurant more than we did.We went because we heard they had great pizza. We didn't find a single one on the menu that sounded good to us.

Great food but they never answer their phone for phone orders, and service is very slow every time I have been able to make an order. The staff are all very young and could care less about you it seems.

So happy for Winterset to get this place. Food is great...BUT !! I will continue to support this establishment even though service is EXTREMELY slow every time. They are fortunate to have young waitresses but management has not taken the time to teach and its a shame. Food is great but comes very slowly. Come on management step this up to the next level please.

Good place to drink draft beers. Good variety. Porker pizza was a good meal. Brisket was good. The broasted chicken was excellent. Service was fast and efficient. Plenty of room to hang out. Had multiple tvs to view sports. Also has outdoor seating and corn hole games.
