I love this place! It is so good! The place is kind of small so I don't recommend going here with a giant group of people. It has an outside seating area with a nice view of our courthouse. It doesn't have a big menu but everything is definitely delicious. I wouldn't go here if you are a picky eater or on a diet. People do have to understand this is a local restaurant so it may not be able to change the food to your needs. But this is an amazing place for a meal!

You never know who might show up. The folks I got to spend time with were a fun bunch. Nice of the owners to keep the lights on after 10PM Saturday for a special night. It's one I won't forget.

Passing through the area on a 3week road trip. This place was just what we needed. Love the small town charm, chill vibe, so many good beer choices, excellent menu, and lovely staff. I had a salad with grilled chicken, my hub had the grown-up grilled cheese. Food was fantastic.

Nice hometown atmosphere, good food - we both had the Chicago 6 flatbread. Intriguing drink menu but we were doing the Covered Bridges tour.
I had a very.gpod meal I even took an extra meal home

Wonderful quaint little restaurant in the hometown I was born. The food was delicious and local as were the drinks all local beers and alcohols from Iowa highly recommend even if you're just driving through!!

Visiting from Seattle and discovered this excellent pub. Delicious food, excellent prices and super friendly staff. The on-duty manager Miranda was exceptional and really treated us right.
If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for food and drinks. You won't be disappointed! 👍

Come for a taste of Iowa....this quaint little craft cocktail/beer watering hole specializing in Iowa grown / produced goods is a great spot to visit. They locally owned and operated staff will spoil you and surprise you with a delicious food selection also sourced from Iowa. Definitely worth the trip if your not local to Winterset.
