“On Black Friday they were able to seat a last minute party of 10 in their upstairs. It was such a wonderful experience and everyone loved the food. Our waitress was also so sweet and very good at her job. I also have to note the sushi rolls are excellent and well priced. Our families new favorite spot“

“The food options and sushi selection were excellent. Our sushi, noodles, and the appetizer were delicious. However, the service was subpar. Our initial server seemed overwhelmed, forcing us to seek help from other staff. Fortunately, the second server was attentive and apologetic. A smoother transition would occur if the initial server announced the switch. The remodel is impressive, but the single shared restroom is a big issue.“

“I introduced my college-aged daughter to Sakana on Vista a few weeks ago because I LOVE it and she’d never been here. Imagine our delight when we were served our maki rolls on the deluxe wooden sushi boat, complete with dry-ice “steam” and frozen flowers ! It was a spectacular presentation to our superb dining experience! Thank you so much for singling us out for this special exquisite treat! “The sushi is actually pretty good (a difficult task for Idaho)! I took off a star because the service was poor. The server did not bring us menus or water for quite some time. Then our food took forever and we realized after she dropped it off that we had no utensils or napkins. She didn't come back to ask how the food was until we were totally done eating. This place could really shine if a little effort was put into their service.“

“Ridiculously good ramen, I tried the 12 hour bone broth with level 1 spice and it was so deeply flavored and perfectly spicy. The chashu was amazing and the noodles were so clearly house made.
I've had Ramen in SF and Vancouver and this is the best I've ever had, clearly a passion project. So so happy to have food like this in Boise. Please go so they never close. The best 16$ in Boise for sure.“

“My husband and I been a customer for almost 8yrs and the staff will always recognize us. She even remembers my fav appetizer ( Shumai ). The taste of their food never changed that makes this restaurant unique. It’s our family’s favorite place to eat and gather.“
