“The sushi here is ON POINT. Not only do they have a huge selection and variety of options, but each roll is quality, delicious, and unique. The Kill Bill and the Stardust have been the favorites so far. The Japanese Curry is also one of the best stews/curry’s I’ve ever had. It is large portions and a good meal for 2 with some sushi on the side. The atmosphere of the place is also very unique, making you feel as though you’ve stepped over the Pacific and into Japan. This place will not disappoint!“

“I came here 2 nights in a row while on business travel! My first night my waitress Sabrina gave excellent sushi roll and wine recommendations! My new all time favorite roll is “City of Trees” - the lemon sauce is amazing. All the fish so fresh I was very surprised and pleased. The all you can eat deal is amazing if you want to try a few things. I sat at the sushi bar around 5/6 on Wednesday and Thursday and it was a great experience! Abbey was my server on Thursday and she was very attentive and kind as well!! I definitely recommend that time frame as it fills up fast!“

“Such quick and friendly service. Perfect location in downtown. Laid back atmosphere with ample outside sitting. Sushi was so good, tasted fresh and was absolutely delicious. So much so I ate a 10 piece all to myself which is a feat for a small lady like me! Server was such a delight she was super bubbly and sweet! Will come again!“

“I introduced my college-aged daughter to Sakana on Vista a few weeks ago because I LOVE it and she’d never been here. Imagine our delight when we were served our maki rolls on the deluxe wooden sushi boat, complete with dry-ice “steam” and frozen flowers ! “After a cold day at the zoo, we wanted to have a hot ramen lunch and also explore a new restaurant. I am happy that we gave this place a try! The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, and the options for customization of your ramen was much more flexible than other places I have been. The broth was rich and flavorful and the ingredients were fresh. It was extremely yummy! I can confidently say that we will be back the next time we get the itch for ramen. I will have to try the sushi next time too!“
