What a great hidden gem. It’s an old school house and you eat in the lunchroom. The food is both pricey and good. Everything is prepped and served by the locals who know lots of history of the valley and have been here for generations.

We had a crew to feed and walked in right at 11:00. The owners were so kind and whipped up 8 hamburger meals for our family. They were so fun to visit with and have deep roots in Almo. After lunch we walked across the street for some homemade ice cream at Tracy’s General Store and it was delicious. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and wonderful owners! We will be back☺️

Well, apparently they are "winter" hours and they are only open until 3. There was a sign out front the said open from 11 to 3 with black duct tape and a faint white line saying 3. The woman inside said it was on her website.....I have yet to find a website. Well, disappointed.

Stephanie was so accommodating and helpful. We owe her! She made us some burgers and nuggets even though she was closed.

Love this place! We discovered it during a climbing trip last year, and I'm looking forward to going back again this year. The food is fresh and tasty and the old schoolhouse has been transformed into a cozy lunch/lounge space. Perfect for noshing and relaxing after a big day of climbing!

Mom and her kids prepared us excellent home made hot sandwiches for lunch. The food was delicious and they were very friendly.

Great spot to eat/relax when it's rainy and the rock is wet. Very reasonably priced and everyone who runs it is exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They even have a pool table, tons of books, and free wifi. Another great addition to Almo.

Great spot to eat lunch and hang out with comfortable seating and WiFi. The veggie burger was tasty and they had a salad bar with fresh condiments
