“The Rock City Mercantile, near the City of Rocks, is a great little place owned by a locals in Almo. They have a pizza restaurant as well as a small store. If you’re looking to just grab a quick bite to eat, this might not be the place. They take their time when they make their pizzas, but they are done right. They have a ridiculous amount of outdoor seating, and the chance of you not being able to get the pizza you want and sit down with your group is highly unlikely. Their store is small and fairly basic. What you can buy will be dependent on what time of year you visit. However, if you’re looking for some of the grocery or cooking basics, these guys probably have it. If you’re looking for beer or alcohol, these guys probably have it. Especially local and specialty IPAs. You can find an assortment of candies snacks, and any kind of soft drink. They also have some other basics like toilet paper and first aid kits or some cooking utensils. It’s pretty organized and if you ask for help, they know exactly where everything is. It’s worth your time to swing in and see what it’s like, and even purchase a candy bar or a drink for the road.”
