They have remodeled the place. Still solid on the food and service. Not as charming of an atmosphere, but a good place to eat.

Used to be an ok restaurant wouldn’t come back other than for morning coffee my side to my dish was cold and very clearly had 0 effort put into it my main portion was barely warm at best and clearly had no care put into it as well I would go as far as to say this restaurant is surviving purely on tourist’s not locals shut it down reopen when owners can actually take pride in their business.

I was really disappointed in my visit this time. Waitress was kinda snappy, chicken was dry, took a very long time to get service and food.

Stopped for breakfast on the way to Yellowstone. The food was very good. The server was attentive and pleasant. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean.

Nice small town diner. The sign outside said open 8am to 8pm despite Google saying they close at 2pm. I had the spicy pork tacos with beans and rice and a diet pepsi and my husband had the rubin with fries. Our bill was under $30. We both enjoyed our meals and would come back.

Wow! This place has completely changed! Looks like they wanted to copy the Family Dollar drywall aesthetic next door. Good thing we got kicked out as soon as we walked in because we brought in our own $4 coffees in hand. They could have made 20x that in our business, but instead showed us the door. Tired of that friendly, authentic and cozy diner feel, you've found the right place!

Family-owned spot with friendly service and hearty portions. The food is good—especially the comfort classics—and it’s a nice place to grab a meal if you’re passing through. The atmosphere could use a little update, but it’s clean and welcoming. Not much else in the area, so Trails Inn is a solid choice when you’re in Ashton.

Great atmosphere. Your ideal small town, greasy spoon eatery with one downfall, the service. Our waitress was smug and rude the entire time. Gave short, clipped responses and failed to make eye contact. It was very clear she was irritated that she had to serve anyone. I also asked if the biscuits were made in house to which she said “uh, yeah”. They were not. It was a small very dry puck resembling what I can only assume was at one time a frozen biscuit that had been forgotten in the microwave for 5 minutes too long. Makes me sad as the atmosphere was adorable and very small town Idaho and the patrons were super nice.

The staff was nice, it felt like a church camp food hall of some sort, very bland inside. Food was okay, overall okay but nothing to call home about.

I have nothing good to say about this restaurant. There are new owners and this is not the Trails Inn I expected based on previous visits. The food was horrible and the service lacking. They're in the middle of a remodel that has destroyed the homey feel of the place by covering up all of the beautiful old logs with drywall and a bright white paint. You're better off at the gas stain down the road, it has better food and atmosphere.

It doesn't seem to be the same place as the older pictures show. The lunch we had was ok. A friend said she ate there the next day and got food poisoning.

Tiny tasteless omelets. Water tasted like gym socks or something were soaked in it. This is the kind of place that needs to be run out of business.
