Frostop Drive In Reviews
My first stop at Frostop was beyond delicious, taken there by my husband, a long-time patron since the 60's. Our visit there brought me an incredible cheeseburger basket, fries and the unforgettable root beer float, which was served with HUGE smiles, and the incredible gift of Helen's grace care and understanding that goes forever beyond a great meal and experience. And the wafers --- a shared and generous gift, THANK 🥰 YOU!!!
Stop in and have a wonderful meal or sweet treat! You won’t be disappointed!
the cheese burger was plenty to eat and tasted great. I had a few of my kids Frys and the are the best I've had in a wile. root beer float was the perfect harmony of ice cream to rootbeer ratio. the service was spot on. despite not having enough staff. very friendly. my son asked for second on the chicken nuggets. but settled for a cup of ice cream with mini m&ms. very happy experience for me and the boys , and the workers!

Frostop Drive In offers a charming and welcoming atmosphere with friendly service, bringing back memories of simpler times. The restaurant is known for its deep-fried basket, including fried pickles, green beans, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and spicy potato bites, as well as thick, sweet, and flavorful malt shakes. They also serve a tasty Frostop Burger with toasted buns and crispy fries. However, some customers have noted that the fry sauce may have too much mayo for their taste. While parking can be challenging during busy summer months, the location across the street is available. The huckleberry Dr. Pepper float remains a highlight, highly recommended by customers.
Recently, some visitors have shared mixed experiences. Many love the wonderful environment, great food, and kind staff, even when dining with large groups. However, there have been concerns about the consistency of food quality, with some feeling that items like the chocolate malt and burgers have not been as good or plentiful as before. An unusual choice of spring mix greens on burgers has also been noted, which lacks the desired crunch. Despite these issues, the prompt and helpful service continues to be a positive aspect of the dining experience. For those headed into Yellowstone, Frostop Drive In is still considered a fun stop to enjoy a taste of nostalgia.
