Well we tried it again January 2022. I ordered the patty melt and my husband had the cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was good my husband said and we agree fries are great w seasoning salts..I however had the patty melt which was burnt on the bottom and very Lil onions and dry..no sauce..We had food brought out that wasn't made the way we asked..but it was quickly fixed by our waitress and took off some from our bill. Short handed..but everyone is right now. We will be back to try again.

Very expensive and doesn't taste good, ur better off going to country boy which is around the corner. Way better and good prices

The waitress was nice and the food was cheap. However the service was really slow, the bread was brittle/stale, the eggs weren’t seasoned, some eggs were uncooked, and the menus were sticky/dirty. The waitress said they had the night cook for breakfast and that was why things were slow, but it was still disappointing.

The waitress I had named Ahmi was absolutely amazing!!! Very welcoming, food came out at good time, and affordable prices ?. Defently going to come back for a couple date nights?

We got 3 burgers and a kids grilled cheese, and one of the burgers was completely wrong. (They also had cheese from a different sandwich on the edge of the burger, which happened to be swiss, which the person ordering the burger was allergic to.) They took it back and remade it, but all of the burgers were also charred. Very hard to eat. my father got a Jameson, and they gave him a double and charged him for that when all he asked for was a jameson, warm. My mushroom swiss burger had 2 very small mushrooms on it, and barely any cheese as well. For how long it took, and at 12 dollars a burger, I would expect much more. I live in the area and this cafe used to be owned by someone else, but as it is now I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The chicken fried steak and potatoes are very good. The corn was like out of the can. But the service was fabulous.

Great side of the road cafe! The Ham & Swiss burger is unreal. There is an entire ham steak on the thing! The chef salad was full of all the good stuff. Even the chicken strip & fries were bomb. The serve Coke products, thumbs up. They also have daily drink & dessert specials! Definitely the place to stop in Athol.

I have been here before and has been good food and good service... But tonight it was disappointed in the food. The seafood platter was over cook and greasy/burnt. I seen another table had order the same and it came out looking just right. The waitress was very polite and was very busy apologies to all as she was the only one on the floor. In the hour I was there, a number of people came in and a table next to me was never cleared. Seeing the cook was able to come out every now and then, they didn't think to bus tables and help out. It wasn't like there was a lot of orders being made at the same time. I didn't make a fuss and was offered a free drink for the wait. In which I declined because it wasn't her fault. Tonight may have been a one off night but it could have been better team work.

We went for a quick pre-dinner bite which ended up filling us up. A Grilled ham and cheese with added jalapeno's, cream cheese and some "sauce" was AMAZING, and the PERFECTLY crispy, salted fries hit the spot. Athol is starting to be a busier town, and with Summer guests, this place will be hopping. The outside looks plain, but inside....the food is mmmm mmmm good. The seafood platter is a great fried food meal too.

Quaint little diner just off 95 in Athol. Food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner were standard Americana. Probably table seating for 50 and a bar area for maybe 10 patrons. The food tasted good and the service was friendly and easy parking even for large vehicles.
