The Crossroads Cafe

Well we tried it again January 2022. I ordered the patty melt and my husband had the cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was good my husband said and we agree fries are great w seasoning salts..I however had the patty melt which was burnt on the bottom and very Lil onions and dry..no sauce..We had food brought out that wasn't made the way we asked..but it was quickly fixed by our waitress and took off some from our bill. Great side of the road cafe! The Ham & Swiss burger is unreal. There is an entire ham steak on the thing! The chef salad was full of all the good stuff. Even the chicken strip & fries were bomb. The serve Coke products, thumbs up. They also have daily drink & dessert specials! Definitely the place to stop in Athol.

We went for a quick pre-dinner bite which ended up filling us up. A Grilled ham and cheese with added jalapeno's, cream cheese and some "sauce" was AMAZING, and the PERFECTLY crispy, salted fries hit the spot. Athol is starting to be a busier town, and with Summer guests, this place will be hopping. The outside looks plain, but inside....the food is mmmm mmmm good. The seafood platter is a great fried food meal too.
