Well we tried it again January 2022. I ordered the patty melt and my husband had the cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was good my husband said and we agree fries are great w seasoning salts..I however had the patty melt which was burnt on the bottom and very Lil onions and dry..no sauce..We had food brought out that wasn't made the way we asked..but it was quickly fixed by our waitress and took off some from our bill. Short handed..but everyone is right now. We will be back...
The waitress was nice and the food was cheap. However the service was really slow, the bread was brittle/stale, the eggs weren’t seasoned, some eggs were uncooked, and the menus were sticky/dirty. The waitress said they had the night cook for breakfast and that was why things were slow, but it was still disappointing.
Great side of the road cafe! The Ham & Swiss burger is unreal. There is an entire ham steak on the thing! The chef salad was full of all the good stuff. Even the chicken strip & fries were bomb. The serve Coke products, thumbs up. They also have daily drink & dessert specials! Definitely the place to stop in Athol.
