Tonight was the first time I have been here and the food is delicious. We will definitely be going to Blackhawk BBQ Pit again. Very friendly service also. I almost missed the building because it used to be a gas station. Had to drive around the block to make sure I was at the right place. Thank you for the great service.
I am a local veteran on a fixed (sparse) income, but the days I am able to eat from Blackhawk food trailer, when they are in my town, are the days that make my life livable. Thank you Bryan Boyce and the whole team that allow this possibility. The ribs are fantastic! and one day I hope to experience the brisket!!
The best BBQ I've ever had! Both the brisket and the pulled pork were melt-in-your-mouth tender and super flavorful! Absolutely would reccomend this place to anyone!

This veteran-owned small business is becoming a destination location, although it is noted to be a little run down, particularly the restroom facilities. While it is really the only BBQ place in town, some customers wish for more sauce options, as the current sauce is used on many dishes. However, if requested on the side, it can enhance the flavors. Many recommend the nachos and sampler plates, with cornbread also receiving high praise. Don't forget to get some cobbler too. There have been reports of long wait times for food, which may affect the dining experience.
