I’ve prob been to 13th St Pub ~100 times in the last 8 years… Everything in this restaurant is a 5-star experience (most amazing staff in the valley, great atmosphere, etc) except one thing: recent decision to use beef tallow in the fryers is a massive downgrade from what used to be the best French fries in town (and other fried stuff that ends up getting mixed in that fat). I’m a proud carnivore so no issues with beef btw… Fried stuff just doesn’t taste as good as it...
First time to Hyde Park .. what an awesome day sitting in their outside courtyard. They have a nice beer and spirits selection and my wife says the food is terrific too although I didn't personally have anything at my visit.
Had the brisket dinner, incredibly tender and the bbq sauce was tangy and delicious. Wife had the chipotle chicken wings, also fall apart tender. Nice atmosphere and service was prompt and cordial.
