The food was uninspired. The Chefs Board was a basic meat and cheese, with not enough crostini for the spreadable cheese. The bruschetta was nicely presented but I don't think the bread had been toasted, which was unexpected. The service was friendly.

Have been wanting to come to Acero for a while but hadn’t made the time. Then last night me and a friend got caught in the rain and decided to come in just for a drink and to dry off. We could not be happier that we did! The patio is soooo cozy with the fireplace going, but you can still see outside and enjoy the fall weather. Our server Isabella was so welcoming and friendly, we ended up just staying for dinner were so impressed with the atmosphere. We both had a bowl of soup, the Tuscan kale and sausage and the butternut squash and couldn’t decide which one was better because they were both so delicious! We also shared the cheesy focaccia which was incredible. Would absolutely recommend this spot. We’re already planning our next visit!

Phenomenal night at Acero! Took my mom in with me and sat at the bar, we had an espresso martini which was literally the best I’ve had in Boise! The bruschetta flight was delicious!! And the Caesar salad is so good - such a balanced dressing and with the chicken served hot on top, ugh! Amazing! Couldn’t have loved this place more!!

I placed a catering order for my baby shower at the beginning of the week. I had ordered to pick it up ready to go at 11. I arrive 5 minutes early and they informed me they were just boxing it up. I ended up waiting over 20 minutes for my bruschetta and was late to my shower. When I asked why it was late someone informed me very rudely that they cannot start making the food until I arrive to pick it up. It was clear they forgot about the order or were unorganized. I did not receive compensation whatsoever for this. Will not order catering from them again, especially if I need it on time for an event. The food was very good, however.
Food was mostly very good and well prepared. Service was quite slow however it was Friday night and it was busy. Quite loud inside so difficult to hear one another. We will try again on a week night next time.

Acero is one of my favorite places to go whether it’s for lunch or dinner. Their lunch has an amazing choose option of soup, salad, flatbread. And dinner. So much to say. The menu appears small. But once you really start reading you realize it’s so hard to choose. From the incredible bruschetta options that are savory, sweet, spicy to the flatbreads. The Italian dishes. The appetizers that are prepared so incredibly individual. The charcuterie boards that could be a meal all In themselves. Honestly there is something for everyone and the tastes are amazing. Hands down so amazing. The music playing softly in the background allows for conversation with yelling across the table. It’s a must go. You will be happy you did!
