This is by far the best restaurant in Boise! It's where I bring everyone, it's where I choose to do date nights, it's where I bring my team when they're in town. The service is incredible and the food ... the fooooood! I'm also fairly new to gluten free life and they have an amazing selection and it makes me feel “normal” when I order rather than being difficult. Not many places offer that in Boise.
I usually love this restaurant but this time the service was incredibly slow, 2 hours for salad & pasta and we had to ask for our check when the pasta arrived in order to make our show. Overall the food was lovely, but my ravioli was crispy on the pasta edges as though it hadn't finished cooking. Because we were running late, I didn't inform my server.
It's a nice space and the servers are responsive and personable but the food varied from pretty good to awful. 2 of our pasta orders were good although one had to be reheated because it was cold. Portions were just adequate but the menu descriptions were misleading about inclusions. When menu reads broccolini as part of the dish. You expect more than one tiny piece. The 3rd dish, risotto was just awful. Had it been mine I would have returned it. It never should have left...
