Cold brew wasn’t my fav but the bagel sandwich was pretty good. There was a hair in one half but the staff quickly apologized and remade the sandwich. Good space downtown and nice to sit and

The food is basic coffee shop but slightly above average. Avocado toast, simple sandwiches, bagels and a panini press burrito is standard. It’s not fantastic, but it’s fresh, it’s delivered fast and the taste is fairly good. The coffee is above average. The Alchemist roast their own beans. They tend to be on the darker side of nutty compared to other local bean roasters. But the mocha uses regular pump chocolate syrup compared to their next door neighbor Java who uses powered Mexican chocolate. It’s fine but nothing unique. The atmosphere is my main complaint. In general, the music is fine, couches are comfortable, seating is adequate but the lighting….. large LED bulbs, meant to be “Edison” type bulbs are adorned through the seating area. And though they look fashionable, they flicker constantly! They flicker at a rate that gives me headaches and distracts from work or conversation. As soon as you notice, you’ll never unnotice. I can’t in good conscience give this place my recommendation until the lighting situation is figured out and I won’t be coming back.

This is the coolest coffee shop I've ever been to and has so much comfortable seating areas, great wifi, and lots of charging ports (something many coffee shops lack). It also has great coffee and service.

This is my go-to study place. I'd say it's the quietest coffee shop in Boise, so it's perfect if you wanna get some work done. They have THE BEST breakfast burritos here. Better than the coffee in my opinion. That said, the Coffee is pretty good, with fun, funky, seasonal drinks to choose from as well as traditional drinks. The service is what you'd expect and hope for. I'd give 4.5 stars if it were possible, so I highly recommend

Such amazing food and drinks and it's me and my wife favorite place for a meal out , thanks for having something like this here in boise!!!!
This spot boasts a beautiful, moody atmosphere complemented by scattered games--perfect for a cozy tea or coffee break. The unbelievably friendly staff enhances the welcoming vibe. The seasonal flavors are a must-try, and the quiet setting offers ample workspaces. They offer a decent menu, including plant-based options. More of a workspace/coffee shop setup, but it's highly enjoyable. Plus, I won a fantastic game of Uno here, adding to the memorable experience!
My friends and I were looking for a coffee shop downtown and found this hidden gem! It's on the top floor of a building so follow the signs on the sidewalk! I had the Fallchemist from their seasonal menu and it was delicious. They have a few couches to lounge on as well as some tables spread throughout.

I've never been to a plant based restaurant but when I saw gluten free fried pickles on the menu I had to check them out. Hands down, best plant based meal I've ever had. The staff were super nice and everything we had was so deliciousDietary restrictions: Great gluten free options

We just tried the Alchemist Plant Pub and it was so good. Y'all should definitely try it if you haven't. My husband got the phish tacos, which was the star. I got the mushroom dip which was incredibly messy but good. We love vegetarian food, but we just don't like fake stuff that substitutes as meat. They did a great job of making the plants the star of the dish.
