Delicious and flavorful! Tried the vegan sambusa and agree with the other review that said it's life changing. Tasty sauce on the side too. Service was super great as well, very friendly guy with great vibes. Hoping to come back soon!

My partner and I were passing through Boise on a road trip and only had time to stop for dinner. We like to try new things so we selected this place since we hadn't had Kenyan food before. It exceeded our expectations with delicious food and also super friendly servers who taught us how to eat fufu properly and made us feel very welcome, even taking some time to swap travel stories. It was clearly a place with a regular community of visitors but was also welcoming to newcomers....

Landed in Boise, ID for a super short work trip and was SO PUMPED to find Amina’s African Sambusas so I could try fufu for the first time. What I went for: Sore e umboga that I demolished. Also enjoyed: the spiced coffee that was so so good, especially if you like ginger and cardamom. Great food, amazing service and conversation. Did I burn the crap out of my fingers even though I was clearly warned it was HOT hot? Yes. But I’m impatient and y’all it smelled TOO GOOD.
