Ampersand was a unique experience! No menus, just vibes. Chatted with the bartender about our drink preferences and we both loved the new cocktail combinations and riffs that we got to try. We went on a weeknight and were the only customers at the bar. It really is a speakeasy in that it's a small space and hidden away, but the view of the capitol building and foothills was so charming at twilight. They offer mocktails too! Enjoyed our hour at Ampersand. Great drinks concocted by Caitlyn. Enjoyed meeting the other guests. It's an intimate space and it's hard not to meet new people/make new friends.
We chose Ampersand as it is running joke with my friends as I didn’t know what it was….but I know now. Also, we were intrigued by a Speakeasy that was on a top floor versus down below. It did not disappoint. First, the view is fantastic. The moon creating the hills in the background was gorgeous. Secondly, our bartender was personable, creative, and informative.
