We had a great time here. The service was out of this world and super friendly. I felt like they really wanted to help us. We had a large group and everyone had a great time. The drinks were good, the seating comfortable, and music was perfect. I was very impressed that the girl taking our order (8 of us) never wrote down a thing. But every one of our orders, including some food orders, were correct and tasted perfect. While your there, ask about their elevated cocktails..another experience all its own! I could not recommend another bar in Boise higher than Art Haus Bar. Thanks for the great night!

Eating at Kin is always a surprise and a delight. It is more than going out to dinner, it is an experience. The thought and artistry that goes into each course shows how much they care about giving their guests a special meal. I am always astonished at how they combine foods and flavors to make the most unique and delicious courses. Thank you Kin for all you do. We are lucky to have you here in Boise.

Very expensive but an amazing experience. First, the decor of the restaurant is modern but manages to feel warm at the same time. We sat by the prep space and it was fun to watch the team assemble the dishes. Five courses and everything was different and great. There is a story that goes along with the meal and enjoyed the different staff members sharing it. A communal table and it was fun to chat with the people around us. I won't be able to afford to go there often but look forward to going there again...someday. Thanks to all for an outstanding evening.

Last night, my partner and I were utterly disappointed by our experience at Kin. We had made a reservation weeks in advance to celebrate our wedding night, only to be met with a shocking lack of consideration. Upon arriving, we were informed that the restaurant had overbooked and could only offer us two seats at a large, shared table with strangers. This was a complete letdown, considering the special occasion and the fact that we had made our reservation well in advance. The staff's response was equally disheartening. When we expressed our disappointment and explained that we were celebrating our wedding, the waiter's dismissive attitude was evident. He seemed more concerned with avoiding responsibility than ensuring our satisfaction. It was clear that once we had prepaid, the restaurant had no incentive to provide good service. We left Kin feeling frustrated and disappointed. Our special night was ruined by a complete lack of respect and professionalism from the staff. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining here to think twice.

Kris and team crushed it! There is an incredible amount of detail placed on each ingredient. The flavors, presentation, and theme of the night (Aesop's Fables) were all 5/5 stars.

Creative genius. Tied the ingredients, preparation and presentation for each course with an Aesop Fairytale theme. Describing each course in perfect detail with corresponding ingredients. Lovely art gallery to peruse with our welcome cocktail. Hip vibe. One suggestion might be to lower the beat music for the meal descriptions and conversation. Difficult to hear from the full length of the table settings. Otherwise a phenomenal experience. We will be back! Thank you for making my birthday so very special.

Brought two friends for a Belated Birthday celebration. It was their first time at this gem. Husband of couple had worked with Chef Kris in the past. We had a wonderful evening. We were seated where my guests could observe final plating process and Chef Kris welcomed his former colleague with a warm hug after 20 years. Overall, my guests had an amazing time! Food was incredible as always and the service is exemplary.

Kin isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience and a truly wonderful one. The food is fabulous and so unique. It's expensive, but you will have a fantastic time and eat some of the best food you've ever had. There were so many surprises -- the focaccia bread, the carrot ice, the soup, the beef dish, and that upside-down cherry cake; we fell in love with that cake and are still talking about it. The staff makes you feel like a special guest. Thanks so much for a memorable evening.

I don’t want to give a one-star review anywhere— but all of your online info and your own voicemail message says that you are open on Thursdays. I tried going, I’m in town visiting, took an Uber only to find out that you are, in fact, closed down on Thursdays.
