Second time to Avery. Was disappointed on this visit. Sat in a narrow aisle in center of two pathways. Busy and loud hard to visit together. Food was underwhelming. Very small portion of beef for $40. Had to buy an app and salad separately glad I did because the main meal was tiny. Flavor was good but not great. Service was fine. Dessert flourless choc cake was not good. Stale and did not seem house made; it seemed like it was just bought from a store and put in fridge. I expected...
We had a fantastic experience at Avery over President's Day weekend. The service was very professional. From the time when we were seated, wine service, entree suggestions, silverware replacement, wine refilling, we had and top tier attention through dessert. We ordered oysters, the crab cake, the mushroom soup, the toasted sourdough, the Sole and the Beef Bourguignon. For dessert, we ordered the Maple bread pudding, Creme Brulee, and the Pistachio Souffle. All were excellent!...
Everything was good. Our server came over and told us after 35 minutes of waiting for our food that he forgot to put our order in. That was disappointing, but we were comped 13.04 off of our mimosa carne. I would go back
