Used to have delicious sweet pork barbacoa but it seems this location stopped using pulled pork in those dishes. The last two times I've ordered the sweet pork barbacoa burrito, rather than getting what I had come to my expect, the pulled pork was replaced by a solid hunk of pork that completely ruined the texture portion of the burrito experience. Used to be one of my favorite places to eat burritos but I'm honestly quite disappointed in this change. Please return to using pulled pork for the barbacoa. (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ

We had Cafe Rio cater for a work event and they were fantastic! The manager dropped off the food and she was an absolute delight. 10/10 service and the food was delicious!

We have been regulars at this location for a while and have always been satisfied with our visits. Recently, my car had a major malfunction that forced me to leave it in their parking lot on my way to work. I left them a note explaining why it was there, and worried all day that I’d get a ticket or something. When I got back to my car after work, however, not only had they left a sweet note saying they were sorry about my bad luck but also included a free meal coupon with it. It had been such a stressful day and their act of kindness made all the difference. I’m happy to continue supporting a place with such kind, thoughtful people!

My office had food catered. The two young ladies that delivered set up everything up! All the food was hot and delicious! All employees enjoyed the food and the service!

Very nice that this place is open past 8pm we needed a place to eat before attending a concert downtown at the knitting factory and we’re successful!The restaurant itself wasn’t super clean there was clutter here and there and there weren’t a lot of customers at the time which was nice, we didn’t have to wait.The SERVICE though on the other hand was sublime. The young man who took our order was extremely kind, patient and helpful. His name is IAN and if I was able to leave feedback to management I would definitely recommend promoting this employee so he sticks around!Customer Service like this is what keeps restaurants competitive and in business. The other employee was nice too that checked us out and took our payment.We ordered a pork burrito which was very good (I consumed it in its entirety, and my partner ordered a quesadilla. The fountain drink area is nice and offered Italian soda flavors which is unique.Thanks again IAN you were wonderful. Cafe rio is a nice alternative to ‘fast food’ and it is a great calorie to dollar ratio!Best

Came at the end of the day. Steak was delicious and plentiful on my tacos! Workers seemed super tired and made me wonder if they worked all day! They moved pretty slowly. My husband asked if they actually closed at 10:15 and they said they have tried to change it forever and that they close at 9. I got on google and suggested an edit along with a picture of the hours. Hopefully that helps!

My mobile order was 55 minutes past the promised time. My salad was nothing but shredded lettuce, none of the correct toppings, and nowhere near the cafe Rio standard awesomeness. All of the quesadillas were cold and hard as a rock. Love love love Cafe Rio and will definitely be back…just not to this location. $50 down the drain. Kids won’t touch the quesadillas. Super don’t blame them.

12/8 This location is better but still has room for improvement. Had nearly 1/4 cup of liquid floating around in the foil container with my two tacos making the tortillas all soggy. Really ruined the taco experience for me. Bumping them up to 3 stars for now.Was so excited for a Cafe Rio to open at this location. Unfortunately, this location just keeps getting worse instead of better. No energy, no communication, and no cooperation between staff. Food quality is bad - brown and yellow cilantro on my salad and not just a little, a LOT and lettuce looked old. Terrible organization for call in orders. Had a lot of people waiting and there was very little foot traffic. Owner/manager needs to take a serious look at this location and address the morale, training and food quality issues if they want to stay in business.

Went there on a Friday night and hours said open until 8pm. Went to the door and the worker literally walked up and started scratching the open hours off the door. Unbelievable. What a joke!!!
Very friendly staff. Resturant was really clean and the food was very good! We really liked that they have a slasa bar were you can pick your own salsa. We will definently be back next time we visit the area.

I've been going here for years, and I always feel welcomed. Great food and very friendly staff, and it's right next to campus so it's great for being a college student. When you're a regular (especially if you order the same thing a lot) the cooks start your order as soon as you walk in. One of my favorite food places!

Meh, I've never had memorable food here and only came back for my free birthday burrito but my phone had died so I couldn't pull up the coupon. I figured I was already there so I decided to eat there anyway . It wasn't good. It was the chicken Baja burrito, and was almost entirely chicken and pico de gallo. I didn't really detect beans or cheese. There was a lack of savoriness and I didn't enjoy eating the burrito at all. Went back a week later to the Milwaukee location for my bday burrito. Got the veggies one, enchilada style (smothered in sauce and cheese and sour cream). I didn't enjoy it even being smothered, I can't imagine how blah it would have been without the smothering. They were stingy with the sour cream as well. They need to have a medium salsa. They have hot, a tangy verde one and a brown one that tastes like onions and isn't good. I have never craved their food but alas, I'm a s***** for free birthday food. I can't imagine paying $9-10 for these bland creations.
