Absolutely amazing experience!
We went to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary, and from start to finish, every single staff member made us feel so special. Our waitress (I believe her name was Jill) was incredible—genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve ever met. She was friendly, attentive, and so honest when helping us choose from the menu and drink list. My husband wasn’t sure what to order, so she asked what flavors he liked and didn’t like, then surprised him with a custom drink—and he absolutely loved it! She even made us a little heart cutout for our table, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The restaurant was quiet that night, which made it extra peaceful and relaxing. Jill checked on us throughout dinner, and later, when we went up to the rooftop bar The Highlander, she actually came up again to wish us a happy anniversary and see how we were doing. That level of care and kindness really stood out—it honestly felt like everyone there was happy to make our night special.

We also stayed at The Renegade Hotel, which is attached to Baraboo, and the staff there were just as amazing. They surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine and a sweet handwritten note for our anniversary. We had requested a higher-level room, and they made sure we got one. Every single person we interacted with—from the front desk to the cleaning staff—was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and full of stylish details that made the stay feel even more special.

Overall, the staff at both Baraboo, The Highlander and The Renegade went above and beyond to make our anniversary unforgettable. We can’t thank them enough for their kindness and hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back for our second anniversary and recommend Baraboo, The Renegade, and The Highlander Rooftop Bar to anyone, especially for a special occasion.

The décor and atmosphere were absolutely amazing—elegant yet comfortable, with great attention to detail. The staff and service were phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. And the food… simply out of this world! Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor.

Yes, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but food prices are up everywhere—and this place truly delivers the whole package. Worth every penny!

we loved the atmosphere with its classy vibe. the supper sipper was an excellent old fashioned. we also enjoyed the artichoke dip as well as the calamari. we got the rack of lamb cooked medium and it came out perfect temp and loved the chimichurri on top. espresso martini was also very good. wasn’t as sweet as others that use a pre made syrup.

Paid just under $200 for a night out with my wife. It was a 4/10 experience. Imagine Chili's or Red Robin, but $50 a plate, and in a fancier setting. The best part of dinner was our wine. Skip this place and go to Percy, the Avery, White Rabbit, Saltbrush, etc.

When you're charging $100+ per person, the waiter needs to know the menu, the drinks shouldn't take 20 minutes to come out, your entree shouldn't be fired until you're finished with your appetizer/salad. Those who frequent more upscale establishments know what I'm talking about.

This place tries to be fancy, but girl, you ain't that fancy 🫰

First off, the food is amazing. I had the blackened trout with the succotash. Trout was so good, but I could just go for the crab succotash. Hubby had the ribeye with the baraboo butter and he said it was one of the best he's ever had. Cocktails were very well done. For desert we got the cheesecake and the fruit cobbler. The cobbler was perfect and comforting. The cheesecake was perfect. The crust was so good and the cheesecake itself was the perfect balance where it wasn't too rich and was just really pleasant. All that being said, I don't think that's even their standout strength. The staff is amazing. This was my second visit and my husband's first. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and just put the experience over the top. Our server, Savannah, was just amazing. Friendly, very hard worker, and knows her stuff. It was so busy and they were short handed due to some rough circumstances. There were some longer waits and a few issues that happened (not her fault) but they were so quick to make it right. And she held up strong in the chaos. Just noticing all the staff around, everyone, including the manager, were top notch. We will absolutely be back and recommend to all our friends!

A supper club true to its Wisconsin origin. Having grown up in Wisconsin I really enjoyed the references- for example Third Ward is a lovely little street downtown Milwaukee and the the cocktail (pictured) did a great job capturing its essence. I also had the lavender blueberry seltzer as a gin and tonic.

We had appetizers, drinks, steak and dessert. It was about $100 per person. A lovely experience with delicious food. Jill our waitress was so fun and really elevated the whole experience.

Jill was the best, beyond the best. The food was delicious and they did their best to cool us down. They also catered to us for our special bachelorette party.

This was our second time at Baraboo Supper Club in downtown Boise, and it lived up to the hype we built for our friends who were first-timers. We arrived a bit early and were thrilled to be seated right away in one of their spacious, oversized booths, perfect for our group of four. We kicked things off with cocktails, all of which were well-made and delicious. I love that you can order wine by the glass in either a 6oz or 9oz pour, giving you flexibility to suit your drinkin' mood. For appetizers, we shared the baked bread and calamari, both of which were outstanding and were a great start. All four of us opted for steaks, though the menu had plenty of tempting options. Three of us chose filets, and I went with the port wine sauce (worth the extra cost!). My meal was rounded out with a fresh salad and perfectly cooked broccolini, both excellent. I couldn’t resist ordering a side of whipped mashed potatoes, which were creamy and enough I could share with everyone. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the friendly, attentive wait staff made the experience even better. The vibe at Baraboo is always a highlight, think late ‘60s supper club with a cool, retro feel. It’s not the cheapest spot in town, but the food, service, and atmosphere make it worth every penny. We’re already planning to bring more friends next time! Pro tip: If you have time, arrive early and head to the rooftop bar for a drink. The views of Boise are incredible, and it’s a fun spot to start the evening. Highly recommend Baraboo Supper Club for a memorable night out!
