Being that I'm from Texas I wasn't really impressed at all, food was meh, it can't really be compared to food in Texas 😕

Good food, great portions. I had the Al pastor con queso and it was delicious. The Margarita was only fair. I suggest they use a top grade tequila and orange liqueur and fresh squeezed limes

This place is one of the best in Boise. The family that runs this place is super kind and super efficient. The food is excellent - the presentation and the taste. They also have the best Cinco de Mayo party in the area - we love Barrigas!

The steak here is top notch! You get what you pay for, and it tastes great. Portions are large, quality is good, and lots of different options for all. Service was a bit slow, not sure why because there were only like 2 other tables being served at the time. Other than that this place was a great experience.

The beans were out of a can, and the chips were stale salsa subpar. I may be critical because I lived in Mexico, but definitely whitewashed Mexican food

Huge portions. Great, attentive service. Nice calm atmosphere with soccer on TV if you want. Festive window painting, brightens things up in this turbulent time. Well appreciated. Thanks for everything on a Sunday afternoon. E

All their wonderful food is made from scratch and you can certainly tell it by the taste in the texture. We asked about the Mole sauce and the owner come out with a small tasting dish so we could taste it until it's all about they make it from scratch they've had several vendors try to get them to buy their ready-made and they just can't bring themselves to do it and I can see why it was just top drawer and I have eaten mole mm in hundreds of restaurants this was the very very best ever it might even had been better than my favorite Mexican families Sunday dinner sauce. Chimichurri was excellent as well.

Excellent food. Drinks very good too. Maybe the prices are a little high but worth it. You do get a lot of food. Beautiful presentation too. Service is good. Just a little hard to hear in there because of all the hard surfaces. Sounds bounce off. But I'm hard of hearing. Definitely recommend this place.

Did not even get to try the food. Walked into a wait. We were seated and asked for a high chair twice. The high chair was never brought to us. Got up and got it ourselves. Then proceeded to wait for the waitress to at least come back to take our drink order and she never did. Once we noticed she was taking drink orders from people that came in after us, we left. She appeared to be the only one working the floor, which we would be completely understanding of the wait times. but ignoring us and not bringing the chair and going to take orders from people who came in 10 minutes after us was unacceptable.

The service and the atmosphere is great. They did a beautiful job with the interior and the staff is always kind. However, the food itself is kinda bland. The salsa was straight water with a hint of cilantro and their taco salad had barely any salad and was dominated by meat (which to some might be a bonus). Just wasn’t worth the price tag.
