This brewery is amazing!!! The staff, the way they keep making fun new beers, the fun events they have, and the way they are always trying to improve and make it better for the customer is amazing! Love this place! I mean, their beer has won awards people!

This is a wonderful brewery! First, the hospitality is like no other brewery I’ve visited. From the moment we walked in, Beth and Alex were warm, welcoming and generous as they spoke of their beer options and offered us samples. They have a number of creative options on tap as well as NA options for those who don’t with to have alcohol. The taproom is beautiful and clean, and the patio is amazing (too bad it was over 100F the day we visited). We’re from out of town and are grateful to have stopped into this place for beer and conversation. We’ll definitely be back when next in Boise!

I went here for the second time since 2018 and I LIVE this place. Their brews are well priced. The brew master Alex knows her staff and is an excellent talker from behind the bar. Very sociable. The owner Beth which is also a veteran was amazing to talk with . I highly recommend Bear Island veteran woman owned place for great brew and conversation.

it is not a clean place!
I was so disappointed last night. When a short table opened up I waited for staff to clear it. He did but didn't bother to wipe off the table. When I asked him to he gave me a dirty look then gave it a quick swipe.
I noticed that no other tables were cleaned after other patrons left.
With so many viruses being spread these days it is shocking to see this lazy unhealthy behavior.

Beth and family have created a Boise brewing icon. Great beer selection with flagships Idaho Potato Ale, Ammo Bocks and Seasonal Lady M Stout. I have enjoyed watching Bear Island grow from a garage operation to moving into the Firehouse #6 Brewery.With Beth's lead and head brewer Alex brewing prowess, I will enjoy helping them grow some more.Cheers ?
