I’ve enjoyed Big Jud’s for years, sometimes ordering ahead and sometimes dining in. The food is always delicious, so much so that I’ve taken visitors from other states there to try “Idaho food”. The service always exceptional, so friendly and efficient. Truly one of Boise’s Beat.

My husband and I visited Judd's big judds on October 18th we ordered finger steaks and the fish n chips. We were not impressed with the fish as it was skimpy by portion and greasy. The onion rings were really good the tater tots that we had were really good the service was totally awesome the young man was very friendly and very helpful. I recommend they find better fish for taste and portion size. We recommend more meat, less greasy at the price they are asking for. Probably won't return for those plates but maybe we'd try a burger plate.

Where do I start???? A friend referred us and we decided to go and try it out. WOW!! I love the diner industrial look, and our server! She was amazing!! Had a huge personality and really had fun with us. It was warm and friendly, fast and the food was out of this world! My hubby said that it brought tears to his eyes because the meat tasted like a delicious steak! We are coming back tonight so we cannot wait!!! Thank you Big Jud's for GREAT FOOD and SERVICE! We had the 2 pound burger. We added blue cheese and mushrooms. I've had a couple "gimmick" foods, and I was expecting a bland, greasy patty. But this was a revelatory experience. The beef was tender (my jaw is still tired) and flavorful. The mushrooms and portions of blue cheese were perfect.
My wife and mom also really loved the chicken patties.
These Burgers are Awesome Great tots ...And ice cream.

Just cause the parking lot looks busy doesn't mean they are busy, the new apartments have been using their lot, they are working on it. Their burgers are so good.
