Beer hall with seemingly unlimited selections...but the food was off the charts delicious. Ordered the Huntsman Burger, perfectly cooked with a little pink in the middle as I requested and the Stilton just put it over the top. Opted to pair it with their butter lettuce wedge...loved it with no skimping on the Maytag blue cheese. Was drawn to have the Butterscotch Beignets for dessert....OMG this is a must eat here. Very crisp little Beignets encased in powdered sugar with a thick butterscotch side...truly decadent especially since I ate the whole portion alone. Convivial atmosphere, and a great play list.

Bittercreek is always one of my go-to spots. It is classic Boise, which I always love to highlight in my reviews of places! It’s cozy in the winter and has decent beer and great food. The prices have definitely gone up quite a bit over the years, but I get it. I love the spicy lamb burger, the black bean dip, the poutine, and the salads. Honestly, you can’t really go wrong on the menu.

Excellent brewery and restaurant. I had the lamb hamburger and a cider - both were excellent. Cozy, warm, friendly place and nice staff. Highly recommended!

Bittercreek is one of our go to places in Downtown Boise! The cheese curds are always so good, and the staff is phenomenal! One day, I tried the All Day Special not asking what soup it was going to be and when it was a soup I wouldn’t be able to eat they were quick and happy to offer me something else! I appreciated that!

I loved this place! The location was cool, the food was phenomenal, and the service was fantastic! I had one of the best burgers I've ever had and their selection of beer was impressive. If I lived in the area I would go here all the time.

We found this place on a walk the night we arrived in town and wow! The beers were great, the poutine was greater and the beignets were the greatest! We sat at the bar, the place was buzzing and the butterscotch dipping sauce was outstanding. We found a winner! Lucky us!

Waiting over 35 minutes for our appetizer. Once our waitress brought our drinks she never came back. I had to flag a different staff member down and ask about our food. He informed me that it hadn’t been that long. Which means our waitress was doing other things before she put our order in. We were never apologized to. Just told it’s because they don’t have food ready to go. Which I can 100% appreciate. However the table behind us had been clearly sitting for a while, and after our 35 minute mark finally got their food. All around the restaurant almost no one had food. Went to pay for our drinks to leave, explained why we were leaving to our original waitress who once again couldn’t even be bothered for an apology as to why we had no food. 0/10. Go to Matador across the street. 10/10 service and food.

Have been a long-time fan of Bittercreek, but I noticed things have been going downhill on the past 3-4 visits. Last night they were out of poutine. I took that as an opportunity to try a burger because they always look so good. Poor decision. It was not cooked all the way through, meaning there was actual raw, unheated burger meat in my sandwich. I probably could have overlooked that if the burger had been hot and juicy, but both it and the fries were served cold. I should have sent it all back, but our server was nice and we were having a good time with friends and just didn't want to deal with it. Honestly, the worst burger I've had in Boise, and I never thought I'd say that about anything at Bittercreek. Very disappointing.

The atmosphere was very nice. Wasn't too loud that you could hold a conversation very easily. I had the lamb burger and it was very delicious. Butternut squash soup was very good. The family lived the cheese curds. We had a couple drinks to celebrate our daughters 21st. Highly recommend Drunken Uncle. Only negative was the waitress was slow. Having to wait to order for over 30 minutes was frustrating. Glad we waited since the food was superb.

Food is good as always . Service at the bar was very bad, bartender seemed to be inebriated.. getting more and more difficult to come here. Blue service is never good service.
