To start "josh" was no help at all ,not with seating, greeting, drinks or our order ,Mary is the only reason we stayed from being in the back, to stepping up and serving are drinks taking are orders asking how everything was going she was AWESOME !Almost all the tables on the right hand side were dirty with dishes piled on the tables, and he would walk around looking like he was doing something but just walking to the cash register just to look at it, and go to the back and complain that they left him alone , to be honest there was no more then 5 tables there... Anf we did not all show up at the same time...

Who are you paying for reviews? Black bear, you need to pay your staff, not bots, for reviews. 6 pm on a Monday. 1 hostess 1 server and 1 cook had 6 tables. Took me 90 minutes to get a Ruben. And they forgot the thousand island. Watch more than 10 groups come in wait then leave because they could not get service. Table of 8 got served in the sane time it took to make a sandwich incorrectly. Send me the email link so I can reach out "directly", but your staff deserves better.

I don't know how they do it, but I'm surprised by how good the food is literally every time I come here lol. Service is always really slow and takes forever to be seated and get checks. We come back anyways because the food and prices are worthDon't get the red skinned mashed potatoes though, they're kind of gross ?

I'm very unhappy in that I order regularly from Black bear and the order accuracy is dependent on location. This location has a habit of forgetting items and I don't know till I get home. The bags are sealed and unless you inventory your order you will get home minus items. I have had this happen via online orders as well as Doordash and than I'm stuck missing items. I realize the concept of fulfilling a complete order is difficult but if moving forward Black bear could "Do Better" it would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately our food was warm and we had to wait a long time for it. Our server was very nice and did a great job. Seems like it was a bad day for the kitchen.

Went to Black Bear for dinner because we received a gift card. Good thing because I would have hated to part with hard earned money for what we received. Our server tried hard but it was obvious they didn't have much support. From the time we were seated until the time we received our meals was 55 minutes. They were out of several items that we ordered. They seemed understaffed so I thought the service would improve once another server arrived. Instead she hung out at the front counter with another employee chatting while they rolled silverware. From all appearances there is a real lack of leadership at this location. While the food wasn't terrible it was nothing spectacular either. With so many choices for dining in the area. It will be difficult to go back to Black Bear anytime soon.

So this my first time ever eating at a Black Bear, and I am disappointed. Everything I ordered tasted old. First off I tried a bear claw, and it smelled weird just coming to the table. But I wanted to give the benefit of a doubt, so took two bites, and it did not taste good. Idk if it had gone bad or was around something bad, but I left the rest of it on the table. I ordered a chicken fried steak with egg, and also not too good. The chicken fried steak was very mediocre, and that was best thing I ate. Eggs tasted like they had the for long time before they cooked. Hashbrowns were kind of burt, and tasted like they had been sitting for while. Like I said everything tasted old one way or another, but the server seemed nice though. Probably won't be coming to this location again.

I ordered the pot roast and the cobbler. The pot roast made it but the cobbler did not. The driver was not the one that was said. Definitely will not be recommending these people again. Highly

The quality seems to have gone downhill. The hashbrowns were deep fried, the biscuits were rubbery and steamed, and the server ordered a different omelette than what I had pointed out. I had to get my own silverware, get up for cream, pepper, etc and was never offered condiments. Way overpriced and not worth feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, not worth eating here.
