The Cactus was my first stop 30 years ago on my 21st birthday and has never disappointed since. Reasonably priced drinks and reasonably nice people/staff. Best dive bar in Boise, imho. No food. Except for the pumpkin pie eating contest!!!

This bar is one of the better bars on main st Boise. The atmosphere was so much better. The service was top notch and the drinks were reasonable. They have live music which is a plus and they have bingo night so will need to come to come back for a game.
