Incredible food and fantastic staff! Dined in for breakfast (avocado toast & eggs on gf bread) and picked up to-go (turkey situation gf) on a roadtrip passing through Boise. Both times greeted by the friendliest, most helpful, smiley staff. So many gluten free options that are really incredible- savoury and desserts. Hadn’t had a sandwich that good in years! Coffee is also fantastic. Love that they offer dry options for their tasty cappuccinos.

5-stars solely due to their Chai latte. It is a homemade chai they are using and I find it to be perfectly balanced between spicy and sweet. If I lived down here I would be getting it weekly! I am always happy when I get a chance to drop by for one.
Their atmosphere is very pleasant when they are not too busy. Otherwise, it can be a little too loud, crowded, and with limited seating.
They have some pretty good food, but their pastries can be really expensive for a place that does not specialize in baked goods. Good salads too, but a bit pricey. On par with prices in the area though.
I am surprised that they are almost direct neighbors with another coffee shop. I've dropped in to their neighboring shop and I always just leave and order from A cafe after checking it out.

The staff is very pleasant, and service is prompt. It was a chill setting where I could work peacefully for a couple of hours. I ordered the Basic Breakfast with bacon because that’s how I roll. With exception to the potatoes which were undercooked and subpar, everything else was good but not necessarily great. For me, the coffee was just alright, and it’s always a little disappointing when drip decaf isn’t available. Not all of us are nursing an addiction.

What a great cafe, excellent service, great coffee and the food was delicious and was out very quickly. Very nice little space with patio area outside as well.

Visiting from Denver. I'm not a sandwich person but the Greenbelt is the best sandwich I've ever had. And they had a tumeric latte which is so hard to find. Great service and cute place!

The staff were friendly and welcoming and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. I had a cold brew with milk and a simple scram and everything was very good.
Kindest people. Great coffee. Healthy options.

If you're looking for the best coffee shop in Boise, then ā café is it! The atmosphere is bright, inviting and relaxed and the decor is stunning and modern. They have an incredible selection of beautifully crafted hot and cold beverages. All of their coffee is amazing but I personally love their ceremonial grade matcha, which they whisk by hand. And they also have some lovely hot coco drinks made with cacao powder (perfect for the non-caffeine lovers!). And that doesn't even cover their incredibly friendly staff and absolutely STUNNING food menu. Serious, this might be the best lunch burrito in town. My wife and I treat ourselves to their Farmer's Market burrito at least once a week - it's unreal! And honestly, all of their food is made with the highest quality ingredients and tastes divine!

Stopped by to grab a quick breakfast to go while my family was getting coffee next door. I’m usually very generous with tipping — I even added 20% for what was supposed to be simple counter service.
What did I get in return? Complete indifference. My order was delayed, no one acknowledged me, and there wasn’t even a basic apology. Not a single server bothered to check in, while customers who came after me received their orders first. My food was handed to me in a box without a smile or a word.
The difference in service compared to Scottsdale is drastic. For the first time, I’m genuinely questioning my tipping habits. Somewhere along the way, tipping became expected — but service seems to have been forgotten.

There's a reason ā café is the highest-rated brunch in Boise. This is a clean, bright, vibrant space with incredible food! I swear the D-Town Scramble must be the best scrambled eggs I've ever eaten. Sitting at the counter and enjoying pastries and breakfast foods is just an exquisite experience I must have again!

This place has become a real favorite place for the occasional breakfast burrito in my life. Theirs is my favorite in town, by far. The beans are so delicious and the salsa that pairs along with it is so fresh and tasty. Their coffee is great and any of the more elaborate drink orders I've requested they have been more than accommodating on. The staff here are so sweet and always seems to be having a good time at work, which speaks well to the environment there! They also always go above and beyond for dietary restrictions and vegetarian options. I also love all of the cool and unique cook books and things to check out there as well.
