We order a take out order and they gave us the completely wrong food. We got there chicken tacos (not what we ordered) and let me tell you their chicken tacos are always dry and extremely awful. DONT EAT THERE CHICKEN. I called to let them know they gave us there wrong order and the lady I talked to was very rude and hung up on me. Won’t be eating here again.

Genuinely one of the most amazing places I've ever eaten. Came with a group of friends for a school trio, and I am so glad we chose here. Honestly like forgot whatever you are doing in boise and make this place a priority. Owner was such an awesome guy to chat with.Food reminded me of old childhood memories from eating at real Mexican food spots. It was absolutely delicious, and they even brought out some crazy good salsa, it was so smokey and nice. The beef was incredibly well done (not like the temp cooking, like it was actually amazing). And the chips were perfectAbsolutely love this place, the food, and the staff. I will definitely come back

Would give a 6 star for the service if i could. The food was delicious and authentic with a good variety. The atmosphere was amazing and the owner was a g. Best owner ever hands down deserves the tips anyone who doesn’t give this guy 5 stars is committing a hate crime.

Salsa was like watered down soup. Service was terrible, rude, disrespectful when question was asked. Never going back. The tables were dirty. No one was smiling. I have better experiences in alley way food trucks.

I just happened to stumble upon this gem of a restaurant and I wasn't disappointed!! Exceptional decor that's downright amazing! The service was top notch!! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. There was a small problem with my order. My waitress handled it quickly and very satisfactory! I'll be back for sure!

We love Cafe Ole and the quality of food, but today, was hands down the worst service we’ve had. Our server would bring things to the table and walk away without any communication and any requests we had gave the feeling we were inconveniencing her. Those requests were to fix issues like still needing silverware, several order issues, and asking for things that had been ordered but forgotten.For some reason, it’s like today’s crew would rather work elsewhere and had no issue with displaying that to the customers.Back to the Meridian location as we’ve only encountered happy people there that do a great job and enjoy customer service.
