I ordered a taco salad to go. Alejandro was very hospitable and I sat and waited and it was maybe 6 minutes max there was plenty of salsa and plastic ware and a very nice portion. Although this dish is not spicy it was very tasty and it hit the spot and satisfied exactly what I was looking for. Visiting Boise and wanted a taco or something adjacent. Nothing authentic about this menu. Its very american Disguised as mexican for people who haven't ever had real mexican cuisine. The customer service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. But the beans and rice had no seasoning and them the shredded beef was ground beef. Save your money if you want authentic mexican food.

This is our family’s favorite Mexican restaurant in Boise. Really consistently good food with friendly service. I love the atmosphere, it’s so cozy. It’s easy to miss this place in the basement, but don’t walk by - you’ll love it.

The food was bland, the peppers and onions were crunchy. I decided to take the rat of my food home so I could finish cooking it and actually add spices. They wanted to charge me for a tiny side of to-go salsa.
We won’t go back, Ud much rather give my money to barigas on Chinden.
They know us, and they wondered... where are the kids. They have great food and service . Thanks, Casa mexico
