Certified Kitchen and Bakery quickly became my go-to spot during a 3-week house sit in Boise’s Hyde Park—and for good reason. Everything I tried was fresh and consistently delicious. I sampled nearly all of their pastries and salads, and they never missed. The Cobb salad is a standout, and the tuna salad is equally satisfying. Friendly vibe, quality ingredients, and reliable flavor. 5 stars all the way!
THE best breakfast sandwiches in town. The long lines may look intimidating, but it goes by fast.
Very good bakery with fresh and healthy options, the homemade English muffins were amazing, soft and airy! The trailhead bowl was filled with lots of yummy ingredients! The coffees were also a hit! Only drawback is that there is very limited seating, only option is a bar seating for about 6-8 ppl. It’s definitely geared towards take out. Service and staff are friendly and helpful!
Grabbed their signature egg sandwiches, the certified and croque madame style. They were decent. Also grabbed a lemon loaf that we were especially excited for. All of their pastries looked amazing but I’m sad to say their lemon loaf wasn’t all that great. It can also get really packed but the longest wait was for our food.
Best lunch spot! Frozen dinner are amazing as well!
Sooooooo good. Great selection, awesome menu, kind service. This is everything a local bakery should be.

Absolutely amazing food! Fair priced, and some of the best sour dough good I have ever had. Even their english muffins were incredible. They were super busy when we went in but still had our food in no time. Definitely recommend!

Good and staff were stellar, if only the other customers were kind.

Certified is definitely one of the best bakeries in Boise if not Idaho. Great atmosphere and great food. Difficult to find parking along with everything else in Hyde Park, but worth it!

I visited this place two years ago and still can’t stop thinking about their English muffins. I wish I could eat the certified breakfast sandwich everyday.

Certified is the best Bakery around in the Treasure Valley! They have amazing food items made in house and the best Breakfast Sandwiches I have ever had. The baked goods are so yummy too and the coffee is on point.
Need a quick meal to go? They have pre made food and salads that you can grab and go.

The coffee was “meh”, the service was lacking, and there’s nowhere appropriate to sit down and have a meal, which just didn’t make sense for their menu.

We had a great experience here. My wife loved her sandwich and we both enjoyed the olive oil chocolate cake, blueberry crumble, and lemon bar. The employees were friendly, and the prices were fair. I would say the only downside is there is not very much room inside.

Delicious baked goods. We tried several cookies, and the carrot cake was delicious. Hard to find a good carrot cake, but they nailed it. Way to go. The place is a little small and can usually be packed. But worth the wait as the food is very good. Service was a little slow as we saw several employees just standing around. That would be the only negative thing other than that would definitely go back here again.
