This places offers some of the best sandwiches and coffee in Boise. The baked goods are amazing too. There is not much seating/standing room here so be prepared to pretty much stand for up to 20 minutes to get your food.

Loved this little spot for breakfast and coffee. They are busy!! It’s a little narrow and really no indoor seating, but lots of food options to choose from, and we appreciated their kids menu. Their baked goods all looked amazing, but I only tried their star cookie which was yum. I tried their breakfast burrito and egg sandwich, and both were very good. As an east coaster, I personally would love some ketchup on my egg sandwiches, but they don’t have that as an option unfortunately. These sandwiches are served with salsa.

We came back the next day for lunch, I tried their north end club, but can’t eat cold cuts because of my pregnancy. They were nice enough to offer making it with their roast turkey, but charged an additional $9, on top of the $11 sandwich, so a $20 sandwich - we did it, but it simply wasn’t worth it for that price.

Ordered several dishes of our Thanksgiving meal from here while visiting town.
Mashed potatoes - 5 stars
Butternut soup - 5 stars
Green beans - 1 star (no one liked it cold or room temperature)
Cornbread stuffing - 1 star (the flavor pairing was off)
Pumpkin pie - 5 stars
Pecan pie - 5 stars
Cranberry - 5 stars

Although several dishes were excellent, it's unlikely we will return. Reminds me of a Panera on the weekends.

Do not shop here if you are not white. Period. Just picked up our Thanksgiving meal from here. We are from out of town and the patrons and business owners were hostile towards every single member of our family.

Nice little bakery and café. Coffee was pretty good, and cookies were very soft. Its pretty small inside with not a lot of room to eat in, so plan to take out potentially.

FANTASTIC WONDERFUL FOOD! This bakery has it all. It is so yummy and the sweets are just sweet enough. The food is reasonably priced and the employees are very nice! I want to recommend this to EVERYONE in the area!

One of the best breakfast spots I’ve been to! It can definitely get busy but the line is worth it, and the sourdough signature egg sandwiches are especially delicious. Super friendly staff too.

Love certified coffee! Great variety of pastries and food. Coffee is good too! I often will pick up a bag of beans to take home and make. Sometimes there is a bit of a line especially in summer. Only a few counter seats inside and some benches outside.

My sister and I stopped here while visiting Boise. The breakfast options are sooo good. (note: it’s more of an order and go place with little indoor seating) but so good. It’s made fresh & hit. A 55 year old starter was used for my sister’s breakfast biscuit sandwich and I had an incredible huevos ranchero burrito with ice banana bread latte. So good!

The sandwiches and coffee were good. A customer made a racist comment about me to his group and almost got himself hurt but that's no fault of the establishment for his insecurity and ignorance. Do better Boise!

By far one of my favorite places to grab some yummy food and coffee and then go far a walk in the area. I have not had one bad thing when ordering from here and the employees are always
The brisket sandwich for lunch has been my all time favorite so far with a Havana latte and star chip cookie.
Perfect place to stop by and grab some grub before heading next door to make your own candle or taking a walk around the historic district.

IYKYK.
Brownies: Dense and oh-so-rich dark chocolate goodness served up in a square, slightly chilled. Just one ☝🏽 bite is enough to send your eyes rolling back into your head. Um, yeah. 🤤

Cookies: Dark chocolate chip “stars” ⭐️ are their TM cookie. Fresh baked daily (like everything); a delicious classic and staple for traditionalists! Don’t forget your choice of milk 🥛

Butterscotch Budino: Danger in the most deliciously smooth way. The dreamy cool butterscotch flavor will transport you to another place, where nothing else matters and voices fade into the background…if just for a moment. Served chilled. Don’t let the petite size fool you, it’s rich and worth the splurge.

An array of breakfast options, hot sandwiches and crisp, flavorful salads are offered (niçoise is my fav). They offer both made to order and some in chilled case for takeaway.
Also known for their fresh baked English muffins, they sell packages to take home… but know that they go fast!

Seating: Bar top only along the wall. It IS limited and be prepared to sit close to others with the (typical) line of customers bustling behind you.
**There are NO tables with chairs**

Staff: are consistently friendly and welcoming and always provide a smile or recommendation.

Atmosphere: Comfortable and fast paced. More often than not it’s bustling, especially on you guessed it, weekends and mornings.

Gifts and books? Yes. They’ve a small section upon entering where one will find greeting cards, cookbooks, children’s books and small, unique and curious gifts.

Place always smells delicious.

This place used to be so stellar, but lately the food has gone downhill so much. Portions are so much smaller than they used to be, as well as quality of food in general. It's a bummer... This place was a staple in the north end, and it's taken such a downturn...
