I hadn't been here in years, and the pizza was better than I remembered. The baked pasta and meatballs okay, but we were all fighting over the grown-up mac & cheese!

The pizza was fresh and tasty. The salad bad was OK (standard lettuce, bacon, eggs etc.)

The surprise was the 3% charge they hit you with. I asked why, and the explanation basically boils down to they pass along the credit card fee and make a bit of profit on that charge as well.
I feel the need to disclose this extra fee up front as in a sticker on the table and/or front page of the menu and/or verbally whn you sit down. I'm never going back there

Worst meal ever. My son ordered a small pizza , I made the mistake of ordering a Chicken Parmigiana sandwich. His pizza came my order did not. The waitress said it would take awhile longer btw, we were the only ones in the restaurant at 5:00. He finished his pizza and finally mine came. Worst looking and tasting sandwich ever. The waitress apologized for the delay and when I told her it was terrible she said they really don’t have it on there menu any longer (it was on the menu) and there were other options she recommended. To late I will never go back.

We have eaten here numerous times in the past, it is actually my favorite restaurant in Boise, we are from California. Unfortunately, this visit left us with a bad taste (pun intended). We ordered our food, wings, and a pizza, which seemed to be taking longer than usual. The server came over and said the pizza had to be remade. Which is really not a big deal. Mistakes happen. We get the wings and they are great. The pizza arrived, and it was a bit bland but still pretty good. The issue arises when 7-8 minutes after we get the pizza, the server starts to push us out the door. She asks if we need a box, to run my card for the bill ecctera. Granted, they were closing in about ten minutes, but if we didn't have to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for them to fix the pizza mistake we would have had time to eat at a relaxing pace. Will I go back, sure, but this was not the best experience I have had here.

The food and restaurant staff are great. My low review is due to management and owners allowing deliveries to be placed up until closing and requiring their drivers to sometimes have 5-10 new deliveries to make past official closing times (usually with only one driver left at time of closing to save money.) I know that it has been brought to the owners attention and they refuse to make a simple change of closing delivery orders 30 min before close so that the workers can get out closer to their scheduled times. They wouldn’t loose out on any money as they can still allow orders for pick up until closing like most restaurants - even more widespread pizza chains. I’ve worked in many restaurants and as normal as it is to keep employees until they are done with side work and job tasks, it’s unreasonable to expect them to do extra deliveries or make food for new orders after closing instead of changing the order closing time. Please fix this as it shows it’s not a great work environment and that the workers and managers input is not listened to or respected. I love the food but this doesn’t sit right with me and I think others should know.

I asked them to please not cook the pizza so long that the crust would look like cardboard. I been eating their pizza since the 90s and it's my fav. let's face it things change and businesses sometimes lose touch of their roots, not these guys they listened and delivered. thank you so much.

This used to be my favorite pizza place. The ingredients have changed, though. Not nearly as good as it used to be. Cheese and pepperoni was skimpy and the dough tastes spongier. Not nearly as flavorful sauce. I’m guessing it’s a cost thing, but it just cost a loyal customer. I won’t even finish the second pizza I got on the monthly special. Yuck.

First time eating at Chicago Connection. Placed an order online for dinner and it said the pizza would be ready in about an hour. It was made and delivered in 30 minutes. The delivery driver James was super friendly and the pizza was amazing.
