I never thought I’d be writing a review like this. After all the times I’ve walked into Chick-fil-A feeling genuinely uplifted because of one person—Tytus—I’m now walking in with a knot in my stomach. Hearing that he was fired didn’t just surprise me; it honestly left me stunned, frustrated, and deeply disappointed in a way I didn’t expect a fast-food restaurant to affect me.
Tytus wasn’t just another employee. He was the heartbeat of that location. Every visit felt brighter because of him. He had this rare ability to make people feel seen, welcomed, and appreciated—not because it was his job, but because it was who he was. You don’t come across people like that often, and when you do, you hold onto them. Chick-fil-A didn’t. And that’s what hurts the most.
Walking in now feels different. There’s this emptiness where his energy used to be. The atmosphere feels duller, quieter, and honestly, a little hollow. You can replace a position, but you can’t replace a presence. And Tytus had a presence that made the entire restaurant feel alive. He made the long lines feel shorter, the chaotic rushes feel manageable, and the everyday experience feel special. Losing someone like that isn’t just a staffing change—it’s a loss of identity.
What frustrates me is how someone who consistently went above and beyond could be let go so easily. This was a person who anticipated needs before customers even voiced them. Someone who treated every guest with genuine kindness, not scripted politeness. Someone who lifted up his coworkers, who kept morale high, who made the brand look good without even trying. And instead of recognizing that, appreciating that, or protecting that, Chick-fil-A let him go. It feels careless. It feels wrong.
And honestly, it’s sad. Really sad. Because for many of us, Tytus wasn’t just an employee we saw in passing—he was part of our routine, part of what made our day a little better. Losing that kind of positivity hits harder than you’d expect. It’s like walking into a place that used to feel warm and suddenly realizing the warmth is gone.
I’ve always admired Chick-fil-A for valuing people, for building a culture around kindness and service. But this decision makes me question whether those values are still being lived out. When you let go of someone who embodied everything your brand claims to stand for, it sends a message—one that doesn’t align with the reputation you’ve built.
Tytus deserved better. The customers deserved better. The team deserved better. And the store is undeniably worse without him.
I hope whoever made this decision realizes the impact it has—not just on staffing charts, but on the community that walked through those doors every day. Because for many of us, Tytus wasn’t just a reason to return to Chick-fil-A. He was the reason we trusted that location to deliver the kind of experience Chick-fil-A is known for.
Now, that trust feels shaken. And the sadness of losing someone who made such a difference lingers long after the meal is over.

Went to this Chick-fil-A yesterday for lunch and was very impressed! Had not been to this location for a long time, and had not eaten in before. The staff really shine! The counter person who took our order was very happy, friendly & helpful. The manager greeted & welcomed us as we walked to our table. A worker cleaned our table & refilled our drinks after we finished our food but enjoyed conversation after our meal. He offered us another refill again before we left. This is the best fast food experience I have ever had!

Wanted to give a review shout out to their employee Noris. We went to dine in for breakfast with our 1 year old and 2 and 1/2 year old and Noris’s customer service was above and beyond. Besides being super friendly, his helpfulness exceeded expectations as he anticipated our needs prior to us asking and took care of us from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out the door. Felt like such customized experience while also watching him still take care of all other parts of his job as well. They’re lucky to have such a great young man in their employment.
