The Teriyaki chicken was a disappointment. There was no char on the chicken. The Teriyaki sauce was watery, and no better than Walmart's brand. The flavor profile and watery consistency ruined the chicken. The Hawaiian Mac salad was very bland. I didn't finish my meal. There was only one other patron sitting in the dining room so it wasn't busy. The condiment station/soda fountain area was disorganized and appeared to be unhygienic. I won't be dining there again.

It's been a couple of years since I've been here, and it was my last. I should have turned around as soon as I walked in - the place was filthy. I was so shocked about how poor the food was that I forgot to take a picture. I ordered Kahlua pork with sweet potato fries and Mac salad. The sweet potato fries that of course were just out of a bag and deep-fried were the highlight of the meal. The pulled pork that had chunks of cabbage in it look like it had all been dumped in a crock pot, no flavor. I have cooked pork in a crock pot with a little bit of sea salt and it had more flavor than this. Over by the soda fountain there were a few condiments in disarray and the area was very dirty. I tried to put some teriyaki sauce on my meat... I think it was water with a little bit of teriyaki sauce in it because I couldn't taste it on the meat. The macaroni salad was technically macaroni salad because it was macaroni with some sort of mayonnaise sauce on it with a little bit of some sort of seasoning. I ate part of my food because it was edible, I was hungry and I paid for it. I was actually looking forward to dinner, as it was much better in the past. It wasn't phenomenal in the past, but good enough that I wanted to go back. I wonder what happened? So sad.

Alright so when i came in the place looks decent once i places my order i started noticing things like wall were dirty the condiment area was dirty. It makes me think if this is how dirty they let the public see god knowns how that kitchen is . I ordered the chicken teriyaki plate. The white rice was good but how can you mess up white rice . The Mac salad was bland definitely missing seasoning. The teriyaki chicken was tender but was missing something, could’ve definitely used more teriyaki sauce.

When it comes to Hawaiian bbq I rarely have a bad experience so I don’t have much negatives to give but if I’m being truly honest here, this was by far the worst experience for me. Having to be originally from Hawaii I would’ve hoped for something close to home and thought that this place was going to hit.
Upon arrival, everything was not up to expectation at all. Tables were sticky, floors were sticky, the guy taking our order just seemed pretty out of it to begin with. I ordered a loco moco, malasadas, and a spam musubi, my wife ordered a ribs plate and chicken katsu plate. Once we got our plates and tried it, the Pattie’s for the loco moco was hockey puck, and gravy wasn’t really gravy at all. The Malasadas? Man they weren’t even Malasadas at all and the filling I got was like a pinch sized portion. The ribs were small tiny portion to where there was barely meat and the katsu was a small portion for a large plate she ordered. On top of that the Katsu chicken was so Rubbery and the sauce was very gooey. All in all I find it not worth it and if I’m being honest the inside was a straight up sauna to where it felt pretty musty and it couldn’t deny that stench that was beating up in there. Idk if the ac was out but it was definitely hot as heck in there.

Terrible!!! The Kalua pork tasted spoiled The manapua tasted old The poi was frozen, fricken frozen!! The dumplings looked like the Costco kine dumplings. A lot of the menu items, they no longer make. Do Not Eat at this place. I moved to Idaho in August and have been looking for a descent place that serves Hawaiian food but this is absolute the worst, in taste and price!!!!

Food was good, less than 10 minute wait. Place has fast food atmosphere so probably wouldn't dine in. Prices very reasonable.

Slow service but not end of the world. Lau lau could use more leaf and more smokey/salty flavor but not terrible, just fine. Malasadas are dense and not fluffy like Leonard's if youre familiar with it. Manapua/Bao filling isnt the best, very different from the bright red you'd see at a Honolulu 7/11 or Chun Wah Kam. Just a very okay restaurant, but if you've eaten Hawaiian food in Hawaii or even Las Vegas, it'll pale in comparison.

Out of all of the hawaiin restraunts I had the pleasure of eating throughout the U.S. , this was the worst! Besides the fact that from the counter the kitchen looked nasty, the food was very poor. No or little seasoning. Very small portions. I had the teriyaki chicken plate with the mac. Never going back!
