I have a gluten sensitivity and it’s hard to find places that have a lot of gluten-free options, yet Cloud9 Brewery had lots for me to choose from! Exciting!! The food was overall really flavorful & delicious, And our waitress was very personable.

This is why it was not 5Star rating:

The gluten free bun was Yummy’ it wasn’t hard. The gluten free bun wasn’t ginormous , it was a nice good size!
But the downside was the gluten free burger came with NO condiments on it- no mayo, no catsup, no mustard. Nada. I wasn’t told it would be bone dry nor even offered any condiments.
Then I had to wait a while before the waitress came back into view, so I could get up and go Ask HER for fry sauce for my hamburger, which I was then charged $.50 for. If I had known I would get charged I would have just asked for mayo, mustard and catsup: very weird to have a dry hamburger with no condiments. All other places fry sauce very is considered a normal condiment.

And the restrooms.
Can we talk about those for a bit. Totally grossed me out that There are no sinks to wash your hands at INside the 2 unisex bathrooms.
you cannot wash your hands at all before you touch the door handle to exit the restroom.
So you KNOW that EVERYONE IS TOUCHING / opening the door inside the restroom, with germy hands.

you then can wash your hands outside of the restroom
- but you get to see who is gross and NOT washing their hands after using the restroom, EW. That kind ruins the atmosphere. How is this not a health code violation??!
Okay rant over.

Here is a the menu - the chicken tortilla soup was flavorful!! The side salad so fresh! The hamburger was delicious other than dry with no condiments.
The “fish and chips” isn’t really fish and chips. It should be called “battered & fried fish with a choice of side” since chips is just one of the options of sides… saying fish and chips- sounds like you get fish AND Chips meal plus a side like all the other meals get sides also. But no. You get battered and fried fish, with a side of chips, salad or soup.

We were excited to try the house made root beer and huckleberry cream soda, yet they were out of that. Super sad since it wasn’t near closing time at all on Saturday, to have run out of a beverage at a brewery.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options - really great gluten free hamburger bun!!

We enjoyed our first time here this afternoon. The food was damn good. We shared a couple of appetizers that were delicious, especially the marinated meatballs. The highlight of our visit was our server, Christy. She was so friendly, helpful, and patient. We had several questions about their drink selections, but she was all smiles. The only con we observed was the menu prices. Although I understand food costs are high for everyone, a $20 sandwich or burger still caused some sticker shock. That was the primary reason for us sticking to just appetizers. The food was great, so if they are within your budget, the meal would very likely be worth the price. Cheers to a new local find for anyone looking!

$25.00 for a Thai Chicken Pita ( was awful )
Well the pita was like cardboard or stale , but $25.00 is outrageous for five strips of chicken cabbage red pepper strips and peanut sauce got a cup of gumbo with that most chicken fat grease , this place is nice but this item had no price on the blackboard …so beware of overpriced specials from the eager beavers throwing things against the wall .

You have to try the burger! They season it so well. The spouse, who is a fish 'n chips snob, is very happy there. I have had the chicken pesto sandwich also. Very good!! Love a good brewery, but don't consider myself a connoisseur. But the American Ale was good. I sampled the honey basil and was pleasantly surprised. Go spend money at Cloud 9. Seriously.

Fun brewery with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I really enjoyed the pesto chicken sandwich! I would highly recommend it! Fries are good too. West Coast IPA is the best IMO.

Kid-friendliness: They were kind to our kiddos.

I keep giving this place a second chance, but alas it's just not that good.Service was slow, food was okay (ordered blue cheese fries as a side for $3 extra and got no blue cheese), beer tasted salty.Asked for our food to go as we were done with our second round of over-priced drinks and didn't want a to spend another $20 sipping drinks waiting for food. Two other tables that sat after us had already been served food. We got home to find out the missing blue cheese.I got the BLAT, thought they also forgot the A, but upon closer inspection found a minimal swipe of avocado on it. Wife got the grilled Kale with Salmon, seemed like it turned out good.Would not recommend.

First off, the macaroni and cheese was amazing. I got it with carnitas and my wife got it with bacon. This bacon was not just a little bit, but at least 3 or 4 pieces chopped up and served with a side. The beer is amazing, the seasonal rotations are worth the wait.Try the Earl gray stout... I know, I know sounds strange but let me tell you. It is not over powering, the bergamot is just right and the hops are perfectly suited to the flavor. They currently at time of writing (1-17-24) have 4 versions of their Russian Imperial stout. Try it!I will be back to sample the rest.

Server Michael was a highlight of the visit as he was a genuine cool dude with a great sense of humor and sass - both needed behind the bar at a brewery...Another bar patron gave me an amazing beer review and her comments were spot-on!Looking for just small food with my beers and the tomato bisque was a great starter but the Goat/Sheep cheese skewers with huckleberries/sauce were AMAZING... Never had anything quite like them now I gotta figure out how to make them.Had hoped to make a 2nd visit but time didn't allow... Will go back whenever I get back to Boise!
