This is the second time I’ve ordered delivery from here, and items from my order were missing and not replaced, which is mind blowing considering the containers of ice cream I purchase are approximately $20 ea.
I was informed that employees couldn’t address their mistake of failing to bag all items, and I would need to wait for a manager. It’s now been two days, and they still haven’t refunded or replaced the missing items and I also have not had my call returned. I do not recommend ordering delivery here.

Workers were so rude. Also ignored for 3 minutes when we first walked in. When we were finally acknowledged the worker said “okay do you know what you want” not hi welcome in or do you want any samples? There were also three other workers just not helping even though there was a group of three people in the store waiting besides us two. And the girl helping us had an attitude the whole time. Also the orange waffle cone is disgusting and it was so stale

I came in at about 8 pm tonight (09/19) and there was a girl working who was absolutely outstanding! They were super busy inside and she stayed upbeat and chipper and gave top tier service to everyone, but including my boyfriend and I. She was super sweet and was quick and efficient even with all the people! Good job hiring her cold stone!

Guy that was making my ice cream had long hair and it wasn’t pulled back. Found not only 1, but TWO HAIRS in my ice cream within the first couple of bites. I wasn’t going to complain after the first one I found but finding a second hair immediately after was absolutely disgusting. Went to the register to let them know and the lady didn’t seem to care. I was informed they couldn’t refund me and all they could do would be make me a new one which did no good since I had completely lost my appetite. I heard her tell the guy to put his hair back 3 different times and he just laughed. I will never return to this location.

The staff was nice and friendly. They didn’t scrape off the stone before making my ice cream, I got toppings from the previous customers ice cream in my ice cream. The girl who was helping me left from making my ice cream to go talk to her friends.

So to preface this review, I do understand the time that I went in was later at night and the employees were busy with delivery orders. With that in mind I went in and attempted to purchase a premade quart from the fridge with a drink. No employee ever greeted or acknowledged me. I stood at the register for a bit over 10 minutes before putting the ice cream away and leaving. Multiple employees walked by the register in that time and were grabbing tickets from the printer by the register for the DoorDash orders. I ended up not making a purchase and probably will not return to this location

My family and I love cold stone. This was the first time I’ve been to the location on vista, usually we go to the one in Nampa or Meridian. I’ve always taken it for granted how friendly, professional and quick the staff at those locations are. The staff at the vista location are terrible. I don’t know who is managing this place, but these three young girls seem to not know what they’re doing, they stand there and talk to each other about nonsense and inappropriate things while multiple customers are in line waiting to make an order. None of them seem to want to take the next order, and when they did, the dark haired girl blew the lid off the chocolate and got it all over my wife’s face and clothes. None of them apologized, she ran to the back and said I’m gonna cry. It’s a shame, because this is a beautiful location, the nicest of the three I’ve been to here, but the ice cream was not made very well, and the service was some of the worst service I’ve ever had at any place. I write this because I love Cold Stone and I encourage everyone to try their ice cream. But I hope upper management takes a look at this place and can fix what is so clearly broken. A place like cold stone is more than ice cream, it’s the people and service that make it worth spending 10x what you would on ice cream from the store or another business.

We walking into the store anticipating the new lucky charms item. The picture looked appetizing however when we were greeted with frowns we knew it already was lacking in the experience. They proceeded to take our order and make the lucky charms ice creams however they had 0 marshmallows. When I asked why they didn’t have any their response was that they weren’t in the container. I noted that it looked nothing like the picture and Maggie told me “it’s just a picture” and proceeded to give us attitude when we were paying for our order. I wouldn’t recommend the lucky charms ice cream either. It tasted like the milk you get after eating the cereal and that’s about it. Maggie was exceptionally rude and made the experience a bust. Do yourself a favor and be kind to your customers. It will take you farther than you think.

This place is hit or miss. I am a huge fan of peanut butter milkshakes and its about a 50/50 chance it will be done right. I ordered one and it came out very thin and the guy making it for me tried to argue with me about it. Thankfully the gal there working made me another one that was pretty close to good. Not my go to place for shakes.
