Coming from Germany, I usually have to stick to McDonald's, Burger King and KFC when it comes to classic fast food chains. The cheeseburger and fries I had at this Dairy Queen yesterday, were superior in taste compared to what I get at home. Moreover, the service was very friendly.

What happened to the ice cream? Got a large vanilla shake that tastes nothing like vanilla or ice cream! It is watery white foam. This is not made from ice cream. What am I spending my money on? What is this horrible con coction? Will never eat here again! When ice cream no longer is ice cream you lost our family.

Have Been eating at this DQ for over 20 years and was always pleased with my visit. Tonight I left upset, frustrated, and disgusted! I'd received a 50 point bonus offer for using the app on a Wednesday, so decided to use the offer today. My wife ordered the 2 for $5 deal with chicken strips and fries. I also had a coupon offer for $3 off a chicken strip basket. I tried to use the app to place my order, which made me scan/submit a code at the counter. The associate had to manually put my whole order in, which ended up being nearly $5 more than I was expecting. I was under the impression I was getting the $7- 3 PC chicken strip deal, which included a drink and Sundae. The associate asked my wife what type of sauce she wanted with her chicken strips,("gravy"). She brought our order to our table, but when I tried to ask her a question (twice) she just walked away. I then realized she had a headset on and probably didn't hear me. My wife didn't get her gravy and I didn't receive the expected sundae. When I went to the counter to ask about then, another associate said that the sundae only came with the $7 deal ( which was what I thought I'd ordered) and with the 2 for $5 deal, the sauce was extra. When we were finished, not only did I not get my sundae, I didn't get my 50 point bonus either. There was a QR code to scan to leave a review and receive a free Dilly bar, but when I tried to scan it, it didn't work either. In all, a very frustrating night! The app is too complicated and misleading, with all the conflicting offers and "special deals", and stipulations. Next time I'm craving chicken, it may be KFC!
