Absolutely horrible business!! I'm sorry but you have posted times for your store and on Friday night with workers Visibly working and the lock the doors 45 min before the close time? Seriously? Absolutely disgusting services

TL;DR: Frequent visits to this Dairy Queen have been disappointing due to repeated incorrect orders (missing items, wrong sauce) and long wait times—even for simple meals. Staff is kind, but service quality is consistently poor.
I have been to this Dairy Queen multiple times as it is close and on my way home from work. However, I am very disappointed in the quality of the service. While the staff is nice and kind they often take my order wrong. I will ask for Buffalo sauce and not ranch in a 6 piece chicken strip basket but walk away with 3 chicken strips, ranch, and no toast.I don't often open the box until I get home to eat so I can't get it fixed in the moment.
If I don't get a bad order the order takes longer. I have dined in and ordered a simple burger with a blizzard but took over 15 minutes to get my order. Other people had come in and gotten their order before me.

Employees are kind and quick. But I would rather have my order made right than out instantly. I get window times are important but I can't recall a single time where my order was filled accurately or I was missing something I requested on a burger. The ice cream is usually done right but sometimes there are pitfalls. My food box wasn't marked either which isn't a necessity but id imagine it's a requirement, might help with the missing toppings.

So the 2 stars go to the awesome employee (Mary I think) who took our order and was so nice chatting with my daughter about exactly what she wished for on her cake!! Thank you!. Fast forward to picking up - umm please see the photo and someone explain how there’s no spell check for “Hapy Birthday”??? The first employee who brought me the cake acknowledged “oh man that’s really bad let me see if I can get you a discount” … then he disappears and another employee comes out front and says sorry but there’s nothing he can do. They also tried to charge me AGAIN bc they forgot to attach the paid receipt when I placed the order. I had to go thru my bank stmt to show the charge from 3 weeks ago. Furthermore I advised this employee that my daughter (who’s plenty old enough to read) will be upset by this typo and had to ask more than once for some sort of discount bc that’s really unacceptable for a $60 cake. I get that mistakes happen but you have to make it right in that situation. He reluctantly offered a $5 gift card (yikes) and I went on my way since I didn’t have time to sit and argue on the day of her bday party. I’m hoping the owner will see my post and help the young employees better understand good customer service…. We come to this DQ all the time since it’s close by and now I don’t know if we will continue.

Sophia is the best employee at the whole store.
Lady was outside washing windows and cleaning dirty stuff came inside didn't wash her hands and proceded to then touch all of our food and make our ice cream. 🤢 I just threw it all out. That's absolutely disgusting.... I won't be back...

We have lived in southeast Boise for 15 years so this our closest DQ. They always mess up the orders. I swear they never get anything right. I order the same blizzard every time and I just find they put random crap in it. Often time peanut butter cups end up in there which don’t belong. It’s just so frustrating to never know what you are gonna get. I wish there was consistency. The people working are often nice enough but they don’t last very long. They take FOREVER to just do blizzards. It’s sad because I love their options I just wish management could figure it out.

This place sucks. I will never go back to this store. We ordered two blizzards and they made them so badly that we walked out the door and threw them in the garbage. Waste of ten dollars.
