Should be called "The Devils Cove." Tiki bar. Wanted more devil less Jimmy buffet.
Total vibe underground! Drinks are creative and very good. Unique flavor profiles for all. Didn't try the food, so I I remained neutral on the rating. The name is sort of misleading, but totally pirate bounty vibe, mood lighting, and good service.
Best kept secret! Fantastic tiki style cocktails and a great food menu. Love the staff and the vibe - if you haven’t been here you’re missing out!
The manager of this establishment is part of a formal discrimination complaint to submit to the Idaho Human Rights Collition that I am compling against several bars downtown, which in the State of Idaho is legally required prior to filing an ADA lawsuit. I believe he is slandering me because I spoke up against him. This bar discriminates against people with disabilities. All they had to do was treat me like everyone else. The management of this bar is horrible and intolerant and not at all inclusive. Beware.
Was unlike any bar I've been to! 10/10 recommended! Really kind staff as well, I will definitely be back when I'm in boise
Food was great, drinks were good, staff were nice, and the environment was chill. Definitely coming back next time I’m in the city and don’t have to drive home. Also, spice lovers: this place is home. “5” here for the ramen isn’t the bare minimum for actually having any flavor. It’ll kick most of your butts and you’ll enjoy it anyways.
Hidden gem in a great location with good drinks and a hip menu. Located close to many great locations to explore.
It was a fun tropical, tiki, speak-easy. It's definitely worth checking out with surprisingly good food too.
A quirky little underground bar. Think pirates of the Caribbean tiki bar. There are skeletons and tropical drinks. The beers on tap are yummy.
Great place to try some creative drinks. The captain crunch was amazing! Servers were awesome. We will definitely be back!

Small, eclectic space with a fun atmosphere. Unique drinks and pretty good bar food. Not a bad place to hang out with friends.
Really great staff! Everyone was so nice even the ones who weren't serving us were so friendly! Really good fresh and fun drinks!
My party of 2 was greeted as we entered and told we could sit anywhere. The small wooden table and chairs were not comfortable at all and had metal pieced below our knees kept hitting. We sat there a while and then a table of 5 came in, sat down and the waiter went up to them and took their order before saying anything to us. The other table got their drinks before the waiter even came to our table. Then were were asked the spice level of Ramen to choose 1-5. We chose 2 thinking it would have just a little kick. Food took quite a while and when we got it, it was so HOT our mouths were on fire. We couldn't eat it so my friend asked for it to be remade. The server offered a discount but that is not what we wanted as we were hungry. We ended up getting new ramen that took another 15 minutes. The ramen was pretty good the second time but I have had better. I did like the Lumpia and the Zombie drink was cool as it was of fire but the bartender gave it to us and did not tell us how to put out the fire and the metal straw was HOT. We had to go ask for a straw and how to put it out. It is also pricey at $17 but I did think it was a unique drink. The atmosphere is cool and different but tables are pretty close by. A large group of about 6 came in and were so close and so loud we could barely talk or hear anything over their laughing. I may give this place one more try at some point but would probably not recommend unless just to have a drink at the bar in a cool environment.
I recently visited Devil's Den in Boise and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and drinks. Despite being a tiki-themed late-night bar, they definitely deliver in both aspects. The drinks were especially fun, with unique twists on classic tiki cocktails. And while I wasn't expecting much from the food, it was actually quite good. Overall, Devil's Den is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a fun night out with good food and drinks in Boise.
Food was great. Prices even with happy hour not so great. Service was ok but again not for the price. Most likely won't go back. But worth going atleast once.
