Good music, good DJ, and the waitresses were good about coming by to ask if we needed another drink. We didn't eat here so I won't rate the food. It doesn't seem like there's ample parking so I suggest taking an Uber like we did.

The bouncer said there were allegations of me doing something, I asked what, he said he'll tell me outside, so we go outside, and now he says he has no obligation to tell me. He's not a man of his word. Liar. I suspect it was because some entitled girls just happened to be in the shot when I was taking a panoramic video of the whole place, which is such a weak reason to kick me out, I'm guessing that's why the bouncer didn't want to tell me.

Confiscated my friends military ID after proving that it’s legit with a drivers license, he was over the legal limit(28 years old). Nasty service workers wouldn’t recommend anyone come here let alone military members, as their servers lack any actual real world people training and don’t know the difference fake ID and real government issued ID cards.

Lucky she didn't split her head open or worse yet, a fatal head injury. Roddy's is one bad incident away from a lawsuit. Beware!

We are not from around here and ended up here after dinner on a Saturday night. We were told it was a country bar and was hoping to dance but, it must have been hip hop night when we were there. Very young crowd, drunken bull riding, loud music but good drinks. Won’t be back nor will we recommend but I’m glad we experienced it.

I usually do stop by here whenever im in town sincethis place is usually poppin off on the weekends. It has a mixture of a country western and regular nightlife vibe which is nice. This is the only bar in Downtown Boise thst has a mechanical bull. While they do have a happy hour on the weekends I was disappointed to find out the recently changed it to where it only goes till 10 when it used to go till 11. While the drink prices aren't quite as pricey as the upstairs nightclub drink prices in my opinion they are still too pricey. While the doormen and the bouncers are usually quite chill here as long as your not out to pick a fight the quality of the female bar staff members is mixed here. The barback Dalton is a super cool dude that's cool to visit with when he's not so busy keeping the drinks stocked which he's definitely a hard worker that of he deserves a raise if he hasn't had one already recently
