Small sandwich shop, seating is limited. My sandwich was very good and my potato salad was ok.
I don't understand how I haven't been here before. This Caribbean Pork sandwich and potato salad is the best meal I have had in a while. I will try not go every single week but it will be difficult.

Sandwiches were great. Got the pork sandwich (messy but good) and my partner got the Italian sandwich.

First visit here for Restaurant Week and it was great. Loved the banh mi sandwich, soup and lemonade. Everything was on point. Highly recommend and can't wait to return. Show up early as it can get busy!

If you’re in downtown Boise and craving a great sandwich, Don and Charly’s Sandwich Shop is a must-try! We ordered the Turkey Bacon and the Italian Deli, and both were stacked to the max with fresh meats and packed with flavor. The bread was soft with a good crust and every bite was loaded with quality ingredients.
Fast service, friendly staff, and generous portions make this a standout spot for lunch or a quick bite. The only downside is that the space is pretty small with limited seating, so it’s probably best to grab it to go.
Highly recommend if you love classic deli sandwiches or are looking for a great local sandwich shop downtown.

Amazing sandwiches (best meat I’ve ever had in a sandwich) and super super nice people. Great design/ambiance, too.

Just passing through on a road trip and stopped for lunch. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, chicken banh mi and turkey bacon were both fresh and ingredients were well paired. The bread on the chicken banh mi was some of the best I've had recently. Also surprised by the dolmas, took a chance on them and it paid off.

I know now why they were voted best sandwich in Idaho. The Italian was something to write home about. Delicious 😋 can’t wait to try the whole menu.
