Came here for the first time, for lunch. I was excited and was expecting a pretty good experience, considering the location and pictures online.

The food was something that reminded me of a Carls Jr meal and at $18 before the tip, that’s not a good thing. The chicken patty seemed to be something that came frozen off a semi truck which is a major disappointment. The sandwich tasted ok but the ratio of chicken to sandwich is not good.

The service was friendly but they don’t provide service at the table other than to bring you your food that you order at the counter when you walk in. Not a bad thing but not what I was expecting.

The atmosphere is nice though. It’s very calm and relaxed.

Might be back to try their dinner at some point to give them another try but I was definitely not impressed during this trip.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. He ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and I the fish and chips. My meal was delicious and I highly recommend!
The chicken sandwich however, was a super thin frozen patty.
My husband couldn't eat it.

The staff was super great, and apologized and got him a new meal and even took both meals off the check. I did appreciate that and love when there is good and honest service. I would totally return for the fish and chips!

The location of this restaurant was exciting to me. It is in Hidden Springs. It looks like it would be a fantastic experience. Ever since I first drove by it a few weeks ago, I have been wanting to try it. Today was the day. I was happy with the food choices. I got the Springhouse Hamburger. I liked that instead of fries or coleslaw I could get chips and salsa as my side. When I went to sit down, all of the individual tables were dirty. I sat at a long table with high top stools that was uncomfortable. I kept waiting for them to clean off the tables. It took a while. I was able to finally move to a clean table right before my food came. When I went to drink my water it tasted horrible. I had 2 sips and that was it. I was glad I didn't pay for any drink with water mixed in. My meal was delivered and the burger was massive. I was left with 2 napkins. The waiter never gave me silverware or asked of I wanted anything. I would have wanted to cut the burger in half since it was so large. The waiter never came back. It was simply too messy to eat in whole. However, it did taste very good. I just won't make the effort to go all that way when I can get a great meal, better drinks and service much closer.

Worst dinner everrr Geeze louise!! I ordered a burger reg fries at merc 15-20 min so i drive down . Its almost ready. Ok then 10 minutes later i ask same gal is my order ready om im sorry we gave it to someone else?‍♀️???‍♀️but here’s ur order. I said its cold now can u zap in microwave. She said their making a new order 10-15 minutes. I said seriously. Ill take the cold ond a nuke myself then a guy come by apologizes and gives me a gift card for 20 so i get home and back of gift card says $15 so i call and talk to guy and he said sorry but it is fir z$20. Glad i was compensated but my yummo experience was sucky.I had to reheat it microwave. I joans experience on making a customer happy.?U guys are not the old fun experience w food . I wont be ordering again except for my frebee.

Have had two different visits to the springhouse and both with excellent! The food is excellent and the staff are super friendly. Johnathan is great! Highly recommended, 5 stars! Thank you so much for everything!

We had a chance to try out this restaurant recently. What a great experience! We were able to sit outside with our dogs. There was plenty of outdoor seating on a beautiful Saturday night in the spring. The inside is big and open with plenty of craft beers and local wines and multiple televisions to watch the game. The ordering at the counter was convenient and the service was friendly. The portions were excellent. Just the right amount of onion rings and tots. The pulled pork sandwich had plenty of pork with a nice fluffy bun and the BLTA was excellent. The serving of huckleberry was a generous serving and went perfectly with the flowerless chocolate cake. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the NW Boise area, Eagle or Hidden Springs.

The service was kind (counter service) and they had a good beer list, but the food was lacking. The pretzels were good quality, but the meat on the burger and chicken sandwich was not. I think that if they had better quality meat, we would consider going back. The restaurant is located in a remote neighborhood, so I believe it is able to exist.

We have lived in Hidden springs for 18 years now and having the Spring house in our backyard is the best, The service and food are amazing. I highly recommend checking it out!
