I know I tend to gush about businesses I love, but this place truly earns every bit of praise. The moment you walk in, the decor and vibe wrap you in something warm, groovy, and genuinely inviting. Maybe it’s a Boise thing, but everyone I’ve met here has been unbelievably friendly—and Egg Mann & Earl is no exception.

Our server, Amber, was the perfect example of this Boise charm. She struck that ideal balance of attentive but never intrusive, and she seemed to genuinely care about who we were. Service like that transforms a good meal into a memorable one.

And speaking of the meal—wow. Sure, breakfast staples like toast, eggs, and sautéed mushrooms have been done a thousand ways, but somehow this little gem elevates all of it. My cousin ordered the Hipster Toast, and I had sautéed mushrooms and cream cheese on sourdough with an egg (the official name escapes me). But let me tell you: I have never had an over-medium egg cooked so flawlessly. No exaggeration. My cousin was just as blown away by her dish.

Oh, and I can hardly forget to mention the delectable complimentary scone. Really more like sourdough fry bread, but equally remarkable along with everything else we tasted.

It’s rare for a restaurant—especially a breakfast-focused one—to exceed my expectations this much. I’ll absolutely be back the next time I’m in beautiful Boise.

THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WAS HEAVILY. the people cooking it up back there could make the grumpiest person alive smile, plus cassie and jackie just made the whole experience feel like we were being welcomed into heavens gates. Michelin stars wouldn’t even begin to give someone an idea of how worth it it is to go here. if you got a birthday, go here, if you are getting married, go here, if ur down in the dumps, go here, if someone opened the door for u today, go here. honestly any reason is reason enough. my leftovers STILL tasted like it was made by angel hands. decor is so sick too. kisses for everyone will def be coming back.

This is the breakfast spot in Boise. I can’t recall a time recently where so many employees seemed genuinely happy to be there. Food was great. And they gave me a free scone. Which is always a bonus.

Unique experience for breakfast or lunch. Don't let the strip mall location dissuade you, great food. I always get the breakfast tacos, love them. My friend had the salmon Benedict and really enjoyed it. The team is friendly from the minute you enter until you leave....Personalized experience with names on the table and coffee if you need to wait. Free scone to wet your appetite which is sugery goodness!

I've lived in Boise all my life. How did I miss having this deliciously great and fun dining experience? So thrilled that i've had it now and can bring my friends and family back. I highly, I recommend you take the drive from anywhere in the valley. It's definitely worth it! Chase our server was phenomenal and so cheery! Her smile in nature kept a smile on all of our faces! We didn't have a birthday, but one lucky guest did and happy birthday was played on the accordion! Our food portion sizes, we're large and
Filled with homemade delicacies! A giant piping hot scone brought out in the beginning, was a wonderful surprise! The atmosphere is very eclectic and just plain fun!
Treat yourself soon!

The free scone that you get is amazing. The regular pancakes were extremely dry and a huge disappointment. If you like sourdough and I mean really like it then go for the sourdough pancakes...they gotta tang that will light your tastebuds up. The eggs Benedict was very yummy. Little pricey overall.. especially for a very small potion of hashbrowns. Also tried the biscuits n gravy Benedict, it was good, could have been great if the eggs whites were cooked properly, they were very slimy and it just threw me off. The service was good, the atmosphere was very quirky and cool.

The most unassuming place in the heart of southeast Boise— Quality food with many items made in house, including their chorizo, sausage and “scones”, which are really more like a beignet Brittney rocked! They book up, make reservations.

Loved the atmosphere, eclectic collection of decor, mismatched chairs, second hand mugs. What a great vibe. The food was amazing, the staff sooo sweet.

Best of all, they have trans friendly gender neutral bathrooms! Yay!!!

Quaint little restaurant, lots of odds and ends, different styles and pictures, a little of everything.
While waiting to be seated the started playing happy birthday with a accordion to a table and singing, that was so cute.
Was seated with a sign with name wrote on it.
Ordered a guava mimosa tasted good. Then ordered the John Denver, Sausage, diced ham, chopped onion, bell pepper, and pepperjack cheese. Loved the flavors.
While waiting for my omelette they delivered a free scone it was hot and delicious.
When getting ready to leave I noticed they have merch if you are wanting some hats, beanies, etc
Definitely going back for more :)
