Used to be the best & one of my families favorite restaurants. Must have new owners. Went there yesterday & they are changing to a French restaurant with other random options mixed in & much higher prices. I paid 19 for a slice of quiche. It was good but not worth 19 & not really what I wanted or what I went there for.

My partner and I came in for the first time and Blake was our server and provided us with the best, most personable service we've ever experienced. The food is outstanding! If you're looking for a fresh fine dining experience, this is the place.

I was a bit skeptical considering recent reviews. We had never dined here before so we had nothing to compare it to. We were surprised that they did not have a licence to sell alcohol yet, but we had just gone to the wine store a few doors down and picked up one of our favorite wines to have with our dinner. GREEN LIGHT (: I asked about the salmon starter, our rockstar server, Lynn, was unsure how to explain it so she said she would ask and be right back. She came back with a taster of the dish so I could try it. Amazing! My husband had the liver pate and reported that it was out of this world, I took his word for it. Yet another GREEN LIGHT! For our entere's, he ordered the traditional French Cassoulet and I had the Black Cod. The Cassoulet was a Huge plate of food that he said was over the top great. Considering he spent a year in France near Carcassonne, he has a fine palate for the dish. GREEN LIGHT. The Cod was served over what I would call a tomato lentil ragu that was way too spicy for me. Although the serving of fish was VERY small, it was cooked to perfection. I consider myself kind of a cod snob, so for me this was a..... GREEN LIGHT. I do not know how long it has been in new ownership but if you had a bad meal or bad experience I would recommend giving it another try and before you leave let them know what you liked and or didn't like. I found the manager and the chef, who I am assuming is the new owner, to be very open and receptive to my input about the tomato & lentils served with my dish. The staff, Lynn and Mae were not only very professional but delightful. Big Thank you to them and the young manager. I may not need to say it, but....GREEN LIGHT (:

Went for lunch after shopping at the co-op. Noticed it's a different business at this address. Reviews, website, and menus don't match what's there. Very confusing.

Sad to see that Fort closed its doors. Bood if luck to the new occupants. I ate there last night and the food was good, but there are new restaurant issues to be worked through.

Use to love it when it was the old menu (Fort st Station). Went in recently on labor day some places were closed. Was greeted right away but when I sat down I was told they've upgraded the menu to French cuisine. Didn't realize lasagna was considered cuisine from France. Saw how expensive everything was and ended up having an egg salad sandwich for $15. I've made them myself and thought mine were better. Won't be coming back! Way to ruin a place that was already great.

Um, this place is a mystery to me. Full menu but not offering any of it. Hasn’t come out yet or something. Why this place is open and don’t have any food for sale except pasta , soup and Caesar salad is not a menu. I ordered pasta bc it had ricotta but when the plate arrived- no ricotta. Huge chunks of garlic and a lot of it! Why? Looks to be a very expensive fancy menu but quality is not there. No thank you.

This place is a big fraudulent restaurant with a fake so-called owner chef, never worked in a real kitchen, and rips recipes from google and can't execute them. There is nothing good about this place. They are keeping the name on the door because they can't attract business. Their other restaurant have no kitchen and uses this place to produce their food. They claim they have a real pastry chef, but all of their desserts are complete failures. Yes, a wanna be restaurant, but don't put the heart or real hard work into it, and the patron is suffering for it by being served overpriced dishes that lacks everything. You can put a lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig. Remodeling the place doesn't equal success, just covering up for bad food place, that they charge the patron for with serving outdated food, despite being called out on it. Some people know better, the owner only see $$$.

Service was slow, server was very nice but when we asked for the carrot cake to come with dinner that is not what happened. Old place was always packed and buzzing with energy, not now. They are trying too hard and charging too much. Pasta dish was under cooked and tough. Took forever to get drinks. Overall, sadly disappointing. We were regulars at the old restaurant and they had meals we craved. Gone now and too overpriced to want to go back again. So sad since it was a Boise feel good place. We have enough posh places, the comfort places are slowly leaving the area.

We loved this place for a long time, no good beer, no bar, no familiar faces!! You should have changed the name since this is not at all what it was!!!!!

Unfortunately my experience was not great. New menu and prices for two lunch salads and an ice tea was much more than comparable restaurants. Many menu items either sold out or not yet available. We love this place and might stop in once you've had a chance to settle in.

This place has gone downhill in every aspect, food, working conditions, etc.The previous owners sold this place to a wolf in sheep's clothing a Cruella Deville. From being a great place to come and eat, now the food has gone downhill. The atmosphere is so thick that you can cut it with a knife, the workers before were happy, now they look sad and unhappy. The food taste like they were googled and made from online recipes. Nothing good came from this ownership switch. A legacy now down the toilet.

Apparently under new ownership w/ a new menu. Salmon over cooked, salty and sad, lasagna and tagliatelle passable, Chardonnay chicken overcooked and dated. Overall starch heavy and dated menu options.

We stopped by Fort Street Station last night and enjoyed the burst tomato pasta for the first time. This has to be a new menu item? We had never seen it before and noticed a few new menu items as well! We followed with two aperol spritz and a slice of carrot cake. A bit too hot to sit on the patio but the AC was great inside. Thank you for the great service!

The interior is looking great! I am a fan of the updated color scheme and decor. My Steak and Frites dinner was excellent. The food is only going to get better under the new ownership. The location is great with a convenient shared parking lot with the Boise Co-op. I look forward to going back and trying their new updated menu soon!
