The BEST comfort food ever!! Top notch service, even in this casual environment. Gil's was recommended by a friend who passed, we happened to be in area and gave it a go. I can see why he loved it. We will definitely be back.
This place is an unknown gem here in the gem state. Yes it looks a bit rough but the waitresses were very attentive. You order from the white board and it has its specials. On Fridays they have this massive crab meat mound with some large shrimp in it. Is 45.00 and it will feed two people. If is a hidden gem.
Great bar and grill. I stayed in Boise for the night. Searched for a bar, this place came up. I walked over, not far from where I was staying. Walked in, greeted by the bartender, beautiful lady behind the counter. I asked for a beer and got it right away. She then asked if I wanted something to eat. She said the special was good. I ordered, got my food. It was really good, kudos to the cook/chef. It was a crab, and prawns melt. Next time I'm in this area, I'll stop...
